❗️As featured in 20 Best Staycations in Manila of the Decade (2020)!
Here’s how to plan the best staycation in Quezon City in one of the most loved Filipino hotel brands – SEDA Vertis North.
This is perfect for those families who live in the south and who would like to explore Quezon City. If you are attending a wedding or special occasion in the QC area, this is a good interim place to call home during the duration of the event. Or if you simply want to feel the vibe of the city, and be at home away from home.
WELCOME TO SEDA VERTIS NORTH
SEDA Vertis North is the first large-format hotel of this leading Filipino homegrown Hospitality Brand with 438 rooms and a 700-sqm ballroom.
We love the luxurious space of the lobby, which is double the size of usual hotel lobbies.
It has high ceilings, an e-lounge with wooden communal table, and a showcase of iconic pieces of global Pinoy furniture designers Kenneth Cobonpue and Vito Selma and sculptress Ann Pamintuan.

Don’t miss these 8 AWESOME STAYCATION EXPERIENCE in your next Seda Vertis North Staycation
#1 CHEF’S TABLE
This is probably one of the best meals we had during a staycation in the metro, eating at the Chef’s table secretly tucked within the wall’s of the hotel’s kitchen.
You can request to organize the Chef’s table especially if you are celebrating a special occasion or milestone or if you want to do a foodie surprise.
Here is a sample 6-course menu prepared by the culinary team of SEDA – Seda Chef’s Table Seasonal Menu
Loved the main course of Braised Beef Cheek on a bed of mashed ube and potato with port wine reduction and ginger chips.
Best of all, we were serenaded during the meal!
#2 STAYCATION ROOM
Book the Corner Suite rooms (64 sqm) for your staycation with a spacious master bedroom and you can have a connecting room for the kids.
There’s a wide executive desk with a media panel with HDMI, USB and audio-visual connectivity complemented by a fast WiFi and internet access.
The family bathroom has a bathtub, separate shower and toilet, and its own signature toiletries.
It’s so big it has a walk-in closet with iron and ironing board.
You’ll feel at home with the comfortable family living room.
We brought a PlayStation and connected it to the 42-inch LED HDTV to turn it into a game room.
It has a kitchenette, mini-bar, coffee & tea-making facilities.
You can also order from the In-Room Dining Menu.
From the room, you could see an awesome eagle’s eye view and feel the vibe of Quezon City.
#3 CLUB LOUNGE 23RD FLOOR
For breakfast, we loved waking up late to eat in the club lounge on the 23rd floor.
It has less crowd, a curated breakfast buffet, access to the morning news, and a stunning view while you enjoy your coffee.
#4 STRAIGHT UP ROOF DECK BAR
Straight Up at Seda Menu: Starters x Bread | Fried | Fish & Seafood, Sweets | Drinks | Beverages
It’s great to escape from the kids and enjoy a drink on the roof deck bar in the alfresco seating and splendid night view of the QC landscape.
They have a good lineup of alcoholic options from signature cocktails, hard liquor or craft beers.
Salmon Salpicao (₱450). Garlic, white wine, paprika, mushroom
This is a good dish to order if you want a late night eat because it’s healthy, not too filling, and quite good.
Pork Sisig (₱350). Marinated grilled pork, vinegar, crackling, calamansi
Their sisig is surprisingly good and the perfect for pulutan.
#5 AYALA MALLS VERTIS NORTH FUN
It’s so convenient to just walk across the mall, where you can watch the latest movie, shop or have different dining options.
The boys enjoyed playing the entire afternoon at Timezone until they got tired.
They love to play bowling and this duck pin option would do.
Go visit the Japan Town for your Japanese food favorites in Japan Fudo Street.
Japan Fudo Street Menu: Salad, Kushiyaki / Yakitori | Sashimi, Aburi Sashimi, Sushi, Aburi Sushi | Classic Style Maki Sushi, Maki Sushi/Kawari Maki, A la Carte | Don Buri/ Rice Bowl, Tempura, Furai, Ubon/ Soba, Ramen / Gyoza | Bento Box Set, Rice/ Fried Rice, Steak, Desserts, Beverage | Drinks
They have a wide range of Japanese food options for all ages to enjoy at an affordable budget of ₱350/head.
Our favorites were the udon and ramen dishes.
#6 MORNING POOL SESSION
The pool is located on the 3rd floor with a spacious pool deck and furniture pieces by Selma, Cobonpue and Pacific Coast, all made in Cebu.
Staycations are not complete without enjoying a lazy morning dip in the pool with the boys.
#7 SEDA SPA
The spa is also located on the third floor and we would often reserve the last massage slot for the day upon check-in.
The massage service was very relaxing, yet the pressure was good and deep enough to lull you to sleep.
#8 MISTO ALL-DAY DINING BUFFET
Misto is at the all-day smart casual dining outlet …
… with long tables, multiple kitchen stations and themed buffet.
Book the only private function room immediately, especially if you are celebrating a special occasion.
You can ask for a mini-buffet setup of your favorite dishes.
Their grilled salmon, tuna, shrimp and crab are the best at Misto.
The culinary team is young and pleasant to talk to. Don’t miss to order their different soup options.
The ice cream flavors, which you can enjoy plain or as crepe ala mode, were heaven for the boys and the kids at heart.
FINAL THOUGHTS
I love the spacious design of the property from the lobby, suite room, pool and roof deck that makes it feel like home.
Food wise, eat breakfast at the club lounge, organize your own chef’s table, book the private room and don’t miss the grilled seafood in Misto.
The proximity to Ayala Vertis North makes your staycation never boring, what with access to cinemas, Timezone and Japan Town.
There are no lifeguards in the swimming pool, so be extra careful with your kids.
Book your Seda Vertis North staycation from Booking.com or Agoda for the lowest rates and guaranteed availability.
