TOKYO through the Lens of the LG G6 (Photo Essay)

Shibuya Crossing
It’s been said that the best camera is the one that’s in your hand, ready to shoot.

This belief has made mobile photography an indispensable tool for any travel blogger, especially with phones improving their photo resolution over the years, making pictures ready for publishing any time on the blog.

LG has always been a leader in this regard. I love the wide angle lens of their camera phones and their ability to capture entire scenes, like the iconic Shibuya Crossing. And with the latest G6 model having a food mode setting, you can now also capture beautiful shots of your eats with ease.

Here’s a photo essay to kick off our family Tokyo trip series with the four boys, as captured through the lens of the LG G6

The city of Gangneung, one of the host cities for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games, is famous for its beaches, lakes, seafood, museums, and old houses.

There are a number things you can do here–from enjoying fresh seafood at the Jumunjin Seafood Market and touring Ojukheon House (the oldest wooden residential building in Korea), to enjoying modern art in Haslla Art World and witnessing a 4.3km stretch of cherry blossom trees surround Gyeongpoho Lake.

Here’s a photo essay of the sites you can visit near the Winter Olympic venues…

Known as the “Alps of Asia”, the panoramic winter wonderland will be hosting the world’s greatest snow festival–the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics.

The PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics will be the first winter games in Korea held in Pyeongchang, Gangneung, and Jeongseon from February 9 to 25, 2018, while the Paralympic Games will be held from March 9 to 18.

Korea Gangwon Fam Tour (Day 1-2)

The splendid sporting event located in the Gangwon-do Province also offers visitors many unique activities close to the venue. Adrenaline junkies can test their skills at the Alpensia Sports Park, while those seeking a more cultural experience can learn traditional Korean cooking classes at Jeong Gang Won. Guests can also find time to heal with a stay at Woljeongsa Temple located on Odaesan Mountain. And to end the day, enjoy a traditional Korean beef barbecue with a glass of soju.
