Chele Gonzales is probably one of the Philippines’ most high-profile chefs, who has made an impact on fine dining and culinary circles in Manila. He garnered international fame from his then-restaurant, ‘Vask’, which was ranked amongst the best in all of Asia, having landed Best in Philippines and 35th in Asia in 2017 byThe Wolds 50 Best.
2018 marks a new beginning for Chele, with the closing of Vask and rebranding his operations to introduce Gallery By Chele.
According to Chele, Gallery is the next evolution of Vask and this time around, he has officially partnered with Chef Carlo Villaflor—who has worked under him for years—to take the next step on their culinary journey.
The duo brings the same skills and experience that made Vask the best in the Philippines and applies those tried and true methods to Gallery By Chele. With Chele’s global perspective and Carlos’ knowledge of local flavors and ingredients, they have crafted a menu for Gallery that is a step away from the high-end atmosphere of Vask for a more laid-back and casual dining experience.

What is the perfect paradise? For me, it’s an island with everything you need within arm’s reach. A place where you don’t have to travel far and sacrifice your comfort. A remote and beautiful destination with all the modern amenities that you’ll ever need.
Say hello to Lakawon Island Resort & Spa (also called Llacaon), a 13-hectare banana-shaped island off the coast of Cadiz in Negros Occidental.
It’s a world-class beach resort famous for its pristine white sand, crystal clear waters, and the famous TawHai–Asia’s largest floating bar.
DOWNTOWN & HALSTED is an art bar in Forbestown which recreates the revolutionary art and food scene of the famed Halsted street in Chicago known for its public art, galleries, restaurants, and bars that make up this favorite neighborhood hangout.
From Buffalo tenders to crispy pata, its menu offers international comfort food conceptualized by Chef Marco Legasto of Prime 101 and Abuelas. It incorporates made-from-scratch ingredients from freshly made pasta, bread, jams and dishes with no MSG or pre-mixes. While Singaporean based bartender Jason Gray fixed up designer cocktails using fresh pressed juice and premium spirits as their base.
Did I mention they sell the cheapest alcohol by the bottle in the area?

BAGUIO CRAFT BREWERY is Baguio's first and only craft brewery with freshly-brewed beer from 18 rotating taps.
The owner, local Christopher Ordas, began this passion for brewing beer in his own garage in Canada. He later expanded his knowledge by studying the German and West Coast styles of brewing in Munich, Prague, and San Diego.
The beer and food pairing menu brings another level of taste to beer lovers and converts who enjoy both. The menu is a collaboration between Edmark Bustos of Amare and the whole Baguio Brewery Team of Orando TenorioJr., Arnold Miguel, and Shellah Yzanne Merced.
