Ivory Yat is the 3rd-placer of Masterchef Pinoy Edition known as "Kusinera Fashionista", owner of The Beef Barn and The Sultry Chef in Mezza Norte.

Foodies loved the flavors and juiciness of the meat from Roast Angus beef. It's the same original sultry roast beef by "the sultry chef" with the same quality you can get from hotels but with affordable fast-food prices.

Tarlaqueña is a family catering and services owned by Ms. Dinna Tolentino.

Their best-selling dish is the Callos Ala Tarlaqueña, a recipe passed down by her grandmother from Tarlac. Callos or Ox tripe stew was introduced here in the Philippines during the Spanish Colonial era. Tarlaquena's Callos used the traditional cooking method "siga" or slow cooking using an open fire. It is flavored with spicy chorizo and is quite rich, thick and sticky.

Auntie May’s bestseller is their Angus Beef Salpicao cooked with minced garlic aplenty and special seasoning. 

An original recipe by Auntie May's family made from Certified Angus Beef. They serve it with rice and also sell it in frozen packs with 3 individual sachets with a "how to cook guide". It an easy prepare meal you can cook straight from the freezer.

Foodies loved its savory and tender meat that compliments their specialty garlic fried rice.

Rita's Italian Ice is one of the largest Italian Ice concepts in the world with more than 600 stores in the US.

Rita's originally advertised their product as "water ice" which is also sometimes called "Italian Ice". Founded in 1984 by former Philadelphia firefighter Bob Tumolo. He bought the recipe from an elderly neighbor, did some enhances and made the recipe his own and the rest is history.

I personally like the Italian ice concept which is like creamy ice texture, very smooth and made fresh daily in the store.

Choco Liquor Cake is the product child of celebrity couple Richard Poon and Maricar Reyes. Their cakes are made from high-quality chocolate bonbons with a small kick of red wine for flavor.

This heavenly decadent chocolate cake won the hearts of our foodies, with its very rich and moist chocolatey goodness. We like that the quantity of wine had just the right amount bittersweet aftertaste, without it overpowering the cake.

BAR PINTXOS: Alabang’s Secret Spanish Tapas & Pintxos Bar (A Review)

BAR PINTXOS is a neighborhood tapas and pintxos bar in the south, serving Catalan/Basque food by Miguel Vecin and Tinchu Gonzalez.

There are no signs going to this place so it’s a bit hard to find. People come here for the authentic Spanish food and to hang out with friends over drinks. We thought it would be a dark bar type of place but it was surprisingly family friendly.

Our family tried it together with my wife’s cousin Pam of Risa Chocolates, who introduced us to Bar Pintxos. Here’s what we think…
