When it comes to cheesecakes, Chef Gregory Guy has it all figured out—making one isn’t hard, and that’s the beauty of it!

After taking a culinary course at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu in France, Chef Guy journeyed into entrepreneurship and opened up his own store, Cheesecakes by Guy, at Eastwood Mall, Quezon City.

“It all started with one cheesecake,” says Chef. Now his store sells more than 20 variations of cheesecake; from Green Tea, Red Velvet, and Queso de Bola just to name a few.

Casetta del Divino Zelo is an Italian pizza and pasta place in Silang, Cavite operated by the Daughters of Divine Zeal.

I got a foodie tip back in 2014 about this small place with huts, serving pizza and tiramisu by an Italian Nun.

Now was the only time we are able to visit it and here’s what we think about this secret Italian resto in Tagaytay…

VA BENE is an artisan Italian restaurant by Chef Massimo and Carolyn Veronesi. It started off as a humble pasta deli in Petron Edsa on the corner of Pasay Road and, after much success, opened its second branch in BGC. 

The third and latest branch is in Circuit Lane Makati, which now (finally!) serves Napolitana Pizza after strong clamor from the foodie community.

POP CAFE is the first Liquid Nitrogen-charged Popcorn Cafe in the Philippines by Kettle Korn–originally created by RFM’s Joey Concepcion–and is the latest craze in enjoying this popular snack.

This is the first time I’ve seen liquid nitrogen used in popcorn. The nitrogen not only provides a cooling effect but also gives a smoky fun factor that even kids can enjoy. The popcorn kernels are made from whole grains and popped fresh in-store too, making for a healthy treat.
