The pictures are disgusting but I wanted to blog about this to serve as a blog memory for me on my exotic adventures in Guangzhou, China. … But still, every time I look at the picture above, I want to throw up and I can’t imagine eating these disgusting snakes.

Overall, it is still far from a JSG experience and a toned down Le Souffle, but the Duo promise of excellent food and impeccable service is perfect for that dinner date or a special love one occasion.
…So it was perfect, that they have a Duo Steak specials and we were contemplating to order Surf and Turf or this Fish and Meat. My wife was disappointed that the fish tasted and looked like the fillet o fish from Mcdonald’s without the bun =( I was tempted to get a refund for this but the servers and chef Mau were too nice that I forgot about this ordeal.

Dear Sir Anton, Krispy Kreme, America’s favorite doughnut, is finally opening in the Philippines on Nov. 30, with its first store at the City Center, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
…Now, I’m not sure I’m qualified to be part of the “media” but I’ll be glad to get a first hand taste of these fresh doughnuts 🙂 Krispy Kreme will finally open on nov. 30 in the City Center the Fort. … In the US, it was rumored that a guy, Rob Perugin, camped out for 17 days to get this one year supply. (see Krispy Kreme Mania ) I thought about it for a minute, and said to myself, would I want to get fat for a year?
They also serve chicken patty for those who would like to be healthy and still get a taste of the real meat.
…But you can call in advance to order your burger so that you can just pick it up ala drive through along C5 🙂 But be sure to get it when you do order or else, the staff in charge might pay for it or maybe somebody will not get a fresh cooked burger!
…I wanted to try the silly burger which is composed of chopped siling labuyo, garlic, sour cream and cheese but I needed to have space for dinner so will just get it next time around.
This is part of the LJC group of companies and you should not be surprised to see some of the menu items from Cafe Adriatico, Bistro Remedios, etc. etc. What I like about this is that it serves true Filipino food and I always believe that Campampangan dishes are the authentic Filipino food that have little influence from our colonizers.
…I would rate this a 4.5 overall because of the overall ambiance, quality of food, value for money and friendly service.
The nuts add texture and serve as the neutralizer for the sweetness of the popcorn to prevent “suya” (i just can’t think of the english term for this, it is at the tip of my tongue!). … Penny just mentioned that the peppermint flavor and macadamia choco swirl popcorns will be its Christmas limited edition but where was it that we are now trying out his variety of popcorn? … Lastly, I suggested for Chef Tony to come out with a special assorted tub where you can have 3-4 flavors in one big tub.
