Golden Cowrie Filipino Kitchen & Hukad: The Cebuano Food Invasion in Manila! @TheMallofAsia

Golden Cowrie-12.jpg

Golden Cowrie Filipino Kitchen is the premium brand of the foremost Cebu restaurant deeply rooted in the heart and culture of every Cebuano bringing generations of diners together for 35 years.

Its menu features classic recipes to pay homage to the heritage of Philippine cuisine and celebrates culinary creativity in terms of modern execution and play of flavors. The name pays tribute to the Cowrie, one of the Philippines’ prized indigenous shells.

In Cebu, they are famous for their Crispy Pata, while their original Cebu Lechon Belly is a hit in Manila.

I have nothing but happy memories of eating at Golden Cowrie in Cebu, so I’m glad that they’ve decided to expand here and bring their authentic Cebuano cuisine to Manila.

Here’s what to order and expect at Golden Cowrie Filipino Kitchen / Hukad…

Boutique Burger Kitchen (BBK): The Best Burger Joint in BGC by Chef Carlo Miguel?!

BBKpost17

Boutique Burger Kitchen or BBK is the brainchild of famed Chef Carlo Miguel and wife Ria, the first restaurant they opened together (without any partners).

This diner-themed restaurant serves a variety of American classics, with a focus on quality and freshness.  You can expect to find good old-fashioned burgers that have been given the gourmet treatment, and served at affordable prices.

Almost everything at BBK is made in-house, which is one of its strong points. This ensures that the quality and consistency of the food is maintained, and guarantees the customer gets the freshest burger possible

The food here may be simple and straight to the point, but we were blown away by it.

If you love a good burger, you'll definitely love BBK!
