MENDOKORO RAMENBA is the “serious ramen” reincarnation of Ramen Yushoken in Makati, by Elbert Cuenca and Ryan Cruz. The concept is inspired by the authentic ramen houses in Japan. They strictly serve ramen only, limited to 80-100 bowls daily, and just for dine-in during lunch or dinner. They now serve unlimited bowls daily from 11.00am to 11.00pm including Sundays 🙂

FRUIT GARDEN is a boutique jam maker in Asia where each fruit jam is cooked in the French tradition of small batches in copper cauldrons. It’s 100% natural, with a minimum of 60% fruit content, and only fruit, sugar, and fruit pectin are used.

Every Christmas season, they release limited edition luxury fruit jams in elegant packagings. This year, the Luxury Jam collection is inspired by the fruits, flowers, fresh thyme, and rose water from Provence, France. It’s a great foodie gift this 2014 Christmas season!

LOCAVORE: Filipino Food Reinterpreted using French Techniques by Chef Mikel Zaguirre!


LOCAVORE /ˈlōkəˌvôr/ is a Filipino Restaurant and Bar that proudly uses mostly organic ingredients grown locally in the Philippines. The name of the restaurant pertains to “One who eats goods grown locally whenever possible.” 

Chef Mikel Zaguirre leveraged his experience as former head chef of La Regalade to bring out the flavor of each ingredient in a Filipino dish and present it in a colorful way. 

We had our doubts when we tried the restaurant, but we were pleasantly surprised…
