Not a lot of people know Seaside Macapagal Blvd and they mistake this for Baclaran Seaside and got turn off when you say lets meet in Seaside. … Fireworks starts at 7.30-8.00 and 9.00-9.30pm so expect heavy traffic during this time because cars would literally be stopping at macapagal blvd. … At night, the fish is not fresh anymore so if you don’t know leave it to the restaurant to buy it for you.

We were in Diosdado Macapagal and endured the traffic as we saw motorists fighting to get into blue wave with the heavy rains. … Unfortunately, that was the sad story for Germany where its starting to get a lot better than the Australia show with a fountain formation in the beginning. … The oohhs and the aahhs where replaced by aaayyy, (sayang) with a firm resolute to watch it for the last 3 days… sigh 🙁 Bring Rain gear if you are going: Jacket, Umbrella, protective cover for camera..

Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, Only here in the Philippines and it would be sad if you miss even just one of these 5 day World Pyro Olympics event in the Esplanade (formerly Promenade), in the Bay City Central Business Park, Pasay City . … Literally you would hear aahhs, and oohhs, in the crowd and at first I was not doing it, but the Australia show was so spectacular that the oohhs and aahhs just comes out of your mouth.
…We all enjoyed, but it is a plus if you are a photographer because, the thrill of capturing that perfect fireworks photo is enough for you to payout your P100 entrance fee.

What I love about it is that the food is great a lot better than Red Box and Music 21, the room acoustics are great, and the price for a gimmick would be P550/person including food and the room rental. What I hate about the place, is that the rooms are a lot smaller than Red Box (for a 10 person room, there is no room to dance which is critical); the sound proofing of the rooms was not done very well (people can here you even if the door is closed or even more if it is opened); and lastly, the songs are still not updated like you cannot find all the songs of eraser heads (only 3 songs), or songs of cueshe or other of the popular pinoy bands.

I would say that Promenade made the usual gimmick in Greenhills more than just shopping but also eating (new restos), watching movies (added 3 new cinemas in Promenade), Fully Booked 🙂 and finally a new karaoke place (world music room)…
…Each year, the choices are improving and we were torn between kids movie (Mulawin, Enteng Kabisote 2) or a horror movie (Kutob or Shake, Rattle & Roll) or comedy (Mano Po 4: Ako Legal Wife). … Unfortunately for us, Greenhills was not able to get Mulawin or Even Shake, Rattle & Roll so it was an easy decision to split the kids who wants to watch Enteng Kabisote and the big Kids watching a horror flick, Kutob.

The Perfect “Dampa” in Seaside Macapagal Blvd!

This is actually the perfect Dampa place in Manila because it is near Manila Bay (reclamation area), the parking is spacious, the restaurants are clean, there is open air ambiance better than any of the dampa’s in the whole Manila. There are a few “Dampas” already in Metro Manila: the Original Dampa in Paranaque is soo far for most Manila folks, while the Original Seaside along Roxas Blvd is actually right inside the wet market so cleanliness would be an issue.
…Just to give you a perspective on how it would costs, there was only two of us plus Aidan and here is the breakdown: 1/4 Maya Maya Sinigang (P100) 1/2 Tahong Baked (P100) Ensaladang Manga (P100) 2 Plain Rice Cup (P40) Tahong Marketing (P35) MayaMaya Marketing (P45) Total (P420 for two people) — great value!

…Although, I have to say this, that the vintage clothes feels “pilit” and my wife did not like it very much having gone to Marni’s room, I Love You Store, and Store for all Seasons.
