Boracay Day 5 = Going Home-3.jpg

Back to the good old days where you can have a beach picnic while enjoying the powdery white sand.

Boracay Day 3-96.jpg

You can now see the coconut trees and truly experience a tropical paradise.

Boracay Day 5 = Going Home-14.jpg

Most importantly, you can now swim in the clear cold waters of Boracay.

The Great Room

Boracay Day 4-22.jpg

The experience starts in The Great Room, an exclusive lounge reception area for Signature Suite guests.

Boracay Day 3-99.jpg

We really indulged in the complimentary snacks and beverages and had a stock of chocnut for ourselves.

Boracay Day 3-29.jpg

Fortunately, Melvin Cabrera was the Guest Experience Maker (GEM) assigned to our group to make our holiday discreetly magical and awesome.

Most significant are the in-room safe to keep your laptop, wallets and valuables plus an iron with ironing board to make your clothes look good.

Boracay Day 3-48.jpg

A spacious bathroom with a big bathtub as a centerpiece.

BathAmenities

It has a separate toilet and shower, his & hers washbasin, Argan and Signature Suites toiletries and a rubber ducky for bathtub fun.

Boracay Day 3-39.jpg

We loved the high ceiling, spacious dining area and separate living room. It was like living in a 1-bedroom 121 sqm condo in Boracay.

Boracay Day 3-40.jpg

There is a separate toilet and bath in the living room for your guests or for quick bathroom access.

Amenities

You can drink the complimentary soft drinks and beer and eat the snacks in your mini bar, all replenished daily.

Boracay Day 3-34.jpg

The best part are the 8 sqm plunge pool…

Boracay Day 3-43.jpg

the spacious balcony…

Boracay Day 3-59.jpg

and the commanding vista of the white beach.

Boracay Day 3-62.jpg

Upon arrival, you are treated to a relaxing foot wash…

Boracay Day 3-65.jpg

and foot massage with cucumber and oil for about 15 minutes. This can lull you to sleep.

Signature-Suite-Favorites

Our favorites were the details of the soundbar with iPhone dock, Dyson hair dryer, turon langka and chocolate turndown snacks.

Boracay Day 4-167.jpg

Best of all, you can enjoy and have your massage inside your suite late at night.

Forno Osteria Breakfast

Boracay Day 4-21.jpg

You can have your breakfast at the newly opened Forno Osteria in the same building as Signature Suites.

Boracay Day 4-4.jpg

It’s your usual breakfast buffet with bacon, eggs, pasta, and you can also order from Forno Osteria Gourmet Breakfast Menu.

Boracay Day 4-8.jpg

At the center table, you can start with some cold cuts, cheeses, assorted bread and pastries.

Boracay Day 4-3.jpg

You can also choose from fresh fruits and yogurt and indulge in yakult.

Boracay Signature Suites-35.jpg

We loved having our breakfast either in our bed, balcony or even in the plunge pool with a mesmerizing view of the white beach.

Boracay Day 4-17.jpg

Steak & Eggs (₱490). Josper grilled USDA Angus Beef, Crispy Potatoes, 63-degree Egg, Garlic Mayo

I’m not sure why the steaks coming out of the Josper Grill were always quite good served with egg and garlicky mayo.

Boracay Day 4-18.jpg

Chicken N’ Biscuits (₱490). Crispy Fried Chicken, Homemade Buttermilk Biscuits, Farm Egg, Elvis Gravy, Maple Syrup

For those days you are craving for a Southern American kind of food, there’s fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits to start your day.

Boracay Day 5 = Going Home-35.jpg

Beef Tapa (₱490). Housemade Beef Tapa, Aromatic Rice, Farm Eggs, Atchara, Soy Garlic Emulsion

Tapsilog never fails to satisfy but the tapa meat was a bit tougher than that of the Steak & Eggs.

Boracay Day 3-110.jpg

It has a 9 sqm plunge pool that can fit everyone in the family.

Boracay Day 3-126.jpg

The second bedroom has two queen size beds. In total, the presidential suite can have a maximum capacity of 6 people.

Boracay Day 3-121.jpg

It has its own toilet, shower and bathtub, though these are less spacious than the masters.

Boracay Day 3-133.jpg

The living room has a customized carpet resembling Boracay waves specially designed for the signature suites.

Boracay Day 3-129.jpg

It has its own toilet and powder room in case you have guests or if you need quick relief.

Boracay Day 3-136.jpg

Finally, it has its own playroom where you can play mahjong until the wee hours of the morning.

2-Bedroom Signature Suites

Boracay Day 3-149.jpg

Here’s a room tour of one of the 3 units of the Signature Two Bedroom Suite. There’s one on each floor.

Boracay Day 3-151.jpg

The 214 sqm suite was perfect for our family of 6. The Master Bedroom, with a bed oriented toward the sunrise, was for the parents, of course.

Boracay Day 3-156.jpg

The Master Bedroom toilet is big, with a bathtub and separate toilet and shower.

Boracay Day 3-157.jpg

The best part is that it has the biggest 23 sqm plunge pool that kids can enjoy all day.

Boracay Day 3-154.jpg

The caveat is that it faces the sunrise with a beautiful vista of the mountain ranges of the island.

Boracay Day 3-152.jpg

The second bedroom was perfect for our 4 boys…

Boracay Day 3-153.jpg

and they had their own bath tub and rubber duckies to have fun with.

Final Thoughts

Discovery-Signature-Suites-Room

Overall, we fell in love with the lounge pool of the Signature Suites and the exclusive access to the rooftop lounge with an awesome 360 view of the Boracay sunset.

On Breakfast. It would be nice to have breakfast on the roof deck or in the lounge pool with floating trays to enjoy the white beach view while you eat.

Forno Osteria is worth a visit for their Josper-grilled steaks specially when you are celebrating a special occasion on the island. Only thing is that it does not have a view, and it’s hidden at the back of Discovery.

The Guest Experience Maker concept is nice but there’s currently not a lot to do on the island except to enjoy the white beach with your family and hang around in your suite.

The Signature Suites are perfect for a honeymoon or couple escape, all the more when celebrating your anniversary.

Chef Ghel Bagwan, Rome Garcia and Julius Alegre

Congrats to Chef Ghel Bagwan, Rome Garcia, Julius Alegre and Discovery Boracay’s culinary team for the awesome food during our stay!
