This year, favorites return and new features will be introduced at HKDL.
1. MICKEY MOUSE’S 90th ANNIVERSARY
In case you didn’t already know, this year marks Mickey Mouse’s 90th birthday. Disney Parks all over the globe will be doing something big to celebrate the icon of all icons with “World’s Biggest Mouse Party“!
The celebration includes the enhanced “We Love Mickey!” projection show, paying tribute to Mickey’s memorable moments. Kids don’t forget to surprise Mickey as he shows up on his new birthday costume!

The holidays are a great time to see characters in fun holiday outfits at HK Disneyland, as well as see some special characters that only show up for the holidays.

Catch “Moana: A Homecoming Celebration”, a show jam-packed with inspirational music, dancing, puppetry, and storytelling at the new exotic outdoor venue in Adventureland!

A daytime musical extravaganza at the Christmas Ball, where energetic dancers, quartet singers, along with Mickey and his friends take up the stage in their finest holiday costumes for a special snowfall moment.

4. MEET SANTA GOOFY
Once again fans can meet Goofy dressed as Santa this year! So kids, you better make sure you’re nice before you visit.
Santa Goofy will be taking breaks from his Christmas Eve preparations in the North Pole to meet with boys and girls this Yuletide Season. So have your Christmas lists ready and be on the lookout for Santa Goofy at the Christmas Post Office on Main Street U.S.A.

5. A MAGICAL TWILIGHT CHRISTMAS
You wouldn’t want to miss this enchanting sight!
While evening descends, the brand-new, gorgeously-decorated Christmas tree, adorned with beautiful new ornaments and embedded LED lights, will be the venue for “A Magical Twilight Snowfall“.
Join Mickey and his Friends as they make a special wish during this dazzling tree-lighting ceremony! Lanterns will be light up, snow will begin to fall, giant projections will transport you from Main Street U.S.A. to a stunning winter wonderland and everything from the Christmas tree to the Train Station will be illuminated. Plus, lively singers performing some LSS-worthy carols filling the moment with yuletide joy.
6. COOKIE WILL MAKE HER DEBUT
Duffy, Mickey’s Bear has a brand-new friend at Hong Kong Disneyland, and her name is as sweet as she is! Cookie, the golden puppy chef, is the newest friend of Duffy, who will join her on her first Christmas party.
Cookie will be meeting guests dressed in her finest chef’s hat and pink bow alongside her friends Duffy, ShellieMay, Gelatoni, and StellaLou, as they unveil their special winter outfits

7. HOLIDAY MARKET AT FANTASY LAND
Get into the Christmas spirit with a winter adventure and explore enchanting holiday markets at the whimsical Fantasy Gardens. Pick up glistening gifts, wander around food stands, sip on warming drinks and soak up the heart-warming atmosphere.
As guests explore the market they can even take a glimpse of the magical snowfall!

We checked-in at HKDL’s latest resort the Explorer’s Lodge, the first adventure-themed hotel in all of Hong Kong, that’s filled with exotic Disney design and architectural details that highlight the cultures of Asia, Oceania, South America, and Africa.
