SMX Convention Center at SM Aura Premier is not just any events place. It is a multi-purpose event center inside one of the most recognizable malls in Taguig. It is the humble offspring of the huge and grand SMX Convention Center in Pasay, Manila. This one might not be as big as the original, but what it lacks in space, it makes up for in versatility and adaptability.
Recently, they opened their function hall to people who wanted a taste of the amazing food by M Catering and to display just how diverse the place can be.

The M Catering Taste Test happened inside Function Room 3 with a capacity of 100 people located on the 3rd floor of SM Aura Premier, Taguig.
Once you enter the hallway, it feels as if you’re not in a mall anymore because of how vast and spacious it is inside with the high ceiling.
M Catering is a top caterer and one recently accredited by SMX Convention Center last June 2017.
Apart from their delicious food, they also showcased the unlimited flexibility of the room by setting different motifs throughout.
You can tell by how intricate the details were that quality always comes first. SMX has pioneered a rigorous accreditation process for all their partners including caterers, suppliers, and contractors. They are heavily involved in the end-to-end process of a client and can easily adapt to their requests.
There were different setups throughout the room with each area spacious enough to accommodate the people lining up like the bread and appetizer area,
the long buffet station,
the carving station,
the Paella station which was a hit with the crowd,
dessert stations,
The beverage stations were strategically placed on the other side of the room to provide a refreshing ending to the different courses.
You simply cannot miss this grand centerpiece that was located right in the middle of the room.
People were taking pictures on the podium and sitting on the white couch. This setup looked really beautiful and stood out from the rest.
Some of the events they can easily cater to are weddings, debuts, car launches, art shows, product launches, and corporate events to name a few.
Since SMX is strategically located in the CBD area of Taguig, they do hold more corporate events and cater more to their business clients.
It was impressive to know that the room had operable panels, which means they could expand the space anytime to make it even bigger or actually stretch throughout the whole hall.
They even made a basketball court out of the function rooms for one of their biggest corporate clients.
