The interior is small and private, perfect for intimate dinners. Blue accent lights give the restaurant its namesake.
You can also opt for beachfront seating if you’d like to catch the famous Boracay sunset.
Indigo Savory Set Menu
Homemade Kalamata Olive Bread with balsamic vinaigrette and sun-dried tomato basil garlic butter.
Discovery Shores is well known for their bread service. All bread is made in house, baked fresh daily and can be ordered with any meal.
The freshly baked Kalamata Olive bread was fantastic, it had a nice crust on the outside and was soft and moist in the center. The fresh herbed butter paired excellently with the balsamic vinaigrette.
Shitaki Mushroom Fricassee – Shitake Mushroom Top with sauteed veggies and cream with balsamic reduction.
This light appetizer celebrates the light woody flavor of the shitake and the richness of the cream.
Indigo Caesar Salad with toasted chive crostini, topped with crispy bacon and prawn.
This is a nice twist on a classic Caesar salad. The crispy prawn and bacon toppings add a sweet and savory element to a typical Caesar.
Cappuccino Lobster Bisque – Roasted lobster is braised in a traditional French mirepoix for over 8 hours.
The lobster bisque was excellent. Light, and creamy, the frothy stew is packed with lobster flavor.
(Mirepoix <meer-pwah> is a stock base that is made from onions, carrots, and celery — it is the base for almost all French sauces, soups, and stews.)
Calamansi Sorbet Intermezzo – Calamansi and fresh mint are the perfect palate cleansers. Fresh and citrusy, this would also be perfect for a hot Boracay afternoons.
Beef Tenderloin with Prawns – Grilled prawns and tenderloin with herbed potatoes, roasted veggies, and beef au jus.
Indigos take on a Surf & Turf the Prawns were fresh and the steak cooked perfectly. Indigos steaks are a popular item on the menu.
Dark Chocolate Marquise – Dark chocolate, cream, egg, and cocoa powder with peppercorn caramel glaze.
A rich and creamy dessert. that would pair perfectly with a champagne or a chilled Cabernet Sauvignon or, Zinfandel.
Final Thoughts
Indigo is a perfect place to enjoy a fancy meal and maybe a few cocktails. Its location In station one gives offers a bit a privacy for those who want a more laid back dining experience in Boracay.
Indigo prides itself on sourcing most of its produce locally. However, some items are imported.
The Set Course Menus are the best bang for the buck and start at around P1,500-P2,300. We went with the Savory Set Menu priced at P1,995.
