Here comes the post-concert depression after being in the wildest Wanderland last March 4, 2017. Known for being the biggest indie music arts festival, Wanderland stayed true to its theme: the jungle.
For its 5th year, they brought in various international and local artists, such as Yuna, HONNE, LANY, UDD, Gab and John of Urbandub, Lola Amour and many more. The Temper Trap was the main headline, who gave us the feels and a throwback to the very first Wanderland in 2013.

This year has never been like any other – it was held in a new and bigger venue (Filinvest City Event Grounds Alabang) and unlike any other, it had 3 stages: the Wanderland stage, Globe stage and Jungle stage.
(There were a few performances that happened at the same time, but most of it was alternating. Acts’ schedules were posted prior to the event, so make sure to check it out and plan who you want to see!)
With over 15 food stalls, no one can ever get hungry in this jungle.
Other than that, Tiger, the official beer of Wanderland, had something for the brave and adventurous. The Tiger wall offered two extreme activities: the jungle jump and wall climbing.bagh
Also, there was live art show done by local artists, like Jappy Agoncillo and Ysabella Lulu.
Their artworks were also consistent with the theme of the jungle!
While everyone was chilling by the grass, Star Wanderers were free to roam around the Pride Land – a viewing deck above the Globe booth – and the VIP section.
The crowd came into the wild just when the sun was about to set, and eventually filled up the venue right in time for the evening to start.
Giving us the feels early in the day was UDD, who played the awaited “Oo” of the audience and ended their set with their newest hit “Unti-Unti“.
Already overwhelmed with emotions, Gab and John from Urbandub did not let us go that easy as they performed their most heart-wrenching songs “Evidence” and “The Fight Is Over“.
Playing new songs from their upcoming album, like “Good Girls” and “The Breakup“, the emotional rollercoaster went on ’til LANY’s set.
Showing how bad they loved the crowd, LANY ended their performance with “ILYSB“, which everyone sang along to.
For her Manila debut, Yuna did not disappoint, at all. Playing her hit “Crush“, everyone was just down, down, down, down to dance to her music.
Giving us the best performance of the night was HONNE.
They had an incredible way of interacting with the audience, more so that after their third song they said, “Manila, we love you already“

Even though it was the second time for The Temper Trap to perform here, everybody was still blown away by their whole performance simply because they put us in a music trance – making us feel like we were back to the very first Wanderland.
Everyone went wild throughout their whole set, but most especially when they sung “Love Lost” and “Sweet Disposition“.
Having attended most (3/5) of Wanderland already, I have to say that this has been truly the wildest. Other than the incredible performances, the new and different activities and games; it was the people that made a difference. This year has been the biggest in terms of venue and amount of people; and to have a place like Wanderland, where you can just vibe with everyone to the music you love – gives you a unique sense of belonging – something you will carry out even when the day is over.
For everyone, both the loyal and the new ones, who was part of the incredible experience, Wanderland was truly a day filled with unforgettable moments.
