Reversed Reality takes place within the head of criminal mastermind, Enigma. Inside his head are his plans to destroy the world and you are tasked to find them in 60 minutes. Each plan is represented by a puzzle piece, which the team has to put together before the hour is over.

We liked the concept of this room, as everything inside it was…reversed! The game uses anamorphic illusions, which requires players to really look at their surroundings to carefully gather clues.

BAR PINTXOS: Alabang’s Secret Spanish Tapas & Pintxos Bar (A Review)

Bar Pinxtos-17.jpg

BAR PINTXOS is a neighborhood tapas and pintxos bar in the south, serving Catalan/Basque food by Miguel Vecin and Tinchu Gonzalez.

There are no signs going to this place so it’s a bit hard to find. People come here for the authentic Spanish food and to hang out with friends over drinks. We thought it would be a dark bar type of place but it was surprisingly family friendly.

Our family tried it together with my wife’s cousin Pam of Risa Chocolates, who introduced us to Bar Pintxos. Here’s what we think…

PORTOBELLO BAKERY’s Queso de Bola Ensaymada #UTT2015Winner

About UTT 2015: Most Remarkable Ultimate Taste Test Ever @AyalaMalls! (Photo Essay)

With the holidays fast approaching, there's this distinctive cheese found in supermarkets that signal that Christmas is indeed fast approaching. The cheese Queso de bola is characterized by it's salty after taste. As the cheese ages, it becomes more crumbly, sweeter and gives out a stronger flavor of the cheese.

Foodies enjoyed Portobello Bakery's soft and fluffy Ensaymada topped with grated queso de bola, sugar then brushed with mildly sweet butter.

It's quite cheesy, with a generous amount of tangy queso de bola sprinkled on top. It's very light treat with just the right amount of sweetness. The holiday-themed pastry would become a great substitute from the usual gifts.

Congratulations Portobello Bakery for winning the 2015 Ultimate Taste Test!

About UTT 2015: Most Remarkable Ultimate Taste Test Ever @AyalaMalls! (Photo Essay)

Sweet seductions' chocolates are made using beans sourced and manufactured locally. We like how you can customize orders (reduce salt, no milk, type of sweetener) depending on your dietary needs. Their chocolates don't have any preservatives, chemicals, colorants and additional oil.

Foodies like their recent line of bite-size treats. Using fillings not common to the local market but are locally sourced like the Chocolate Espresso Truffle and Cocoanut butter chocolates.

THE RUINS of Negros @TourismPHL

 Bacolod City: The Ruins

Visiting Bacolod City won't be complete without having a trip to The Ruins in Talisay City. Built by the Sugar Baron Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson in 1911 as a testament to his ill-fated love Maria Braga. The Hacienda has garnered the nickname the "Taj Mahal" of Negros.

We loved that it holds many interesting tales and facts within it's concrete walls. Here are some tips on how to maximize your trip to The Ruins…

CALAGUAS: The Waling-Waling Eco Resort Experience…

THE CALAGUAS is one of the best kept secret beach destinations in the Philippines, located in Camarines Norte, Bicol. "Cal" means lime and "aguas" translates to water in Spanish.

It's now famous for Mahabang Buhangin's 1.27 km powdery white sand on Tinaga Island, the biggest island in the Calaguas. Some people describe it as the perfect beach and a throwback to Boracay 25 years ago.

I've been to the Calaguas in 2008, when the beach was still wild and undiscovered. Backpackers and beach lovers soon found out about the island and set up tents in campsites along the beach. In 2012, the first Waling-Waling Resort was built and continues to be the only eco-resort on the island.

Here's a photo essay of the Waling-Waling Eco Resort experience…
