KAPENG MAINIT is a neighborhood comfort food cafe by Chef Bryan Francisco, now famous for their yummy chocolate- or green tea-filled beignets.
The name (which means “Hot Coffee”) was given by his brother, co-owner Ronian Poe, inspired by FPJ’s movie “Walang Matigas na Tinapay sa Mainit na Kape”. Together with co-owner Geoff Eigenmann, they are set on changing the sleepy side of Tropical Avenue into one of the new food trip destinations in BF.

As I plan for the next decade of OAP, I want to make sure to incorporate as much feedback as possible on how to continue what’s working, to correct what’s not, and to understand your expectations for OAP for the years to come.

Google’s search for the most Epic Food Trip, #GoogleMoLang, is a campaign that highlights the usefulness of Google’s intuitive search functions. Five of the Philippines’ top food and travel blogs as well as media outlets were invited to participate to create the most epic food trip! The winner of the event would have the opportunity to be featured in a Google commercial endorsed by famous Filipino YouTubers like Mikey Bustos, Bogart the Explorer, Erwan Heussaff, Ramon Bautista and even Lourd de Veyra.
