The Negros Trade Fair is one of the much-awaited and longest-running provincial trade fairs in Manila held around the last week of September. Don’t miss it this weekend!
Here’s a photo essay of our 29th Negros Trade Fair 2014: Smile Beyond Borders experience…
Since last year, the fair has been held in their new exhibition home at the center of the Glorietta Activity Center. 🙂
We attended the Negros Trade Fair preview night last Sept. 23 with all our blogger friends. 🙂
The five-day trade fair includes the following events:
- Sept. 23: Governor’s Night
- Sept. 24 10.00am: Official opening of the trade fair
- Sept. 24 6.00pm: Masskara Night
- Sept. 26: NVC Foundation Thank You Day
- Sept. 27: The 8th Tipon Negrosallians (a reunion of Metro Manila-based alumni of the University of St. La Salle and St. Joseph School)
It also features the Balay Kalamay Exhibit: The Story of the Sugar Industry of Negros, in collaboration with the Sugar Regulatory Administration and Victorias Milling Company.
The 29th Negros Trade Fair has over 80 selling booths with the latest merchandise from ANP’s five sectors, namely:
#1. Furniture & Furnishings
#2. Gifts & Housewares
#3. Fashion & Garments
#4. Natural & Organic
#5. Food!
Here are my favorites…
Virgie’s Mango Tarts and Pasalubong Delicacies.
…especially the sinfully rich, Felicia’s Ensaymada. 🙂
…popular for its addicting Cam Chips…
…and their latest, Cajun-style Kettle Cooked Potato Chips by Jonathan Beam.
Check out Batitis and Sinamak.
Smoked Boneless Bangus from Negros.
Fruits fresh from the Negros farms.
There’s also hot food, including the original Chicken Inasal and Manolo’s Negrense food.
