Ramadhan International Bazaar-47.jpg

The RAMADHAN International Bazaar is a 38-day event showcasing the culture of our local Muslim communities. It also aims to serve certified Ḥalāl food for our Muslim brothers when they break their fast at sundown of Ramadhan.

It’s open to all and is meant to foster a better understanding of Ramadhan, and give everyone the chance to savor the flavors of Halal food.

Ḥalāl food is food prepared according to Islamic Law. Pork is not allowed and certain meats should be processed properly the Halal way.

Here’s a photo essay of what to expect at the RAMADHAN International Bazaar at Mercato Centrale…

Malaysian Satay (P150/4 pieces). This was very good. There’s an option of beef or chicken with the sweet sate sauce.

Ramadhan International Bazaar-58.jpg
I personally like Papa’s Naan Chicken Tandoori, which they say comes from the best Tandoori place in Malaysia. 🙂 The flavor of the biryani was also good, but they used malagkit rice as a substitute. I have mixed feelings about the rest.

Ramadhan International Bazaar-68.jpg
They don’t have pork in Halal food, so they used chicken for this sausage.

Ramadhan International Bazaar-69.jpg
You can also order the Special Beef Burger (P100) for a quick Halal bite.

Ramadhan International Bazaar-74.jpg
Pizza Margherita (P300). The pizzas are cooked upon order, but they use a thick crust.

Ramadhan International Bazaar-62.jpg
Pizza Sausage (P300). Order this pizza with sausage and mushroom toppings. 🙂

About RAMADHAN International Bazaar

Ramadhan, the fasting month anticipated by Muslims worldwide, is here again.

Muslims and non-Muslims alike in Metro Manila are invited to experience Ramadhan in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig.

The first Ramadhan International Bazaar is a 38-day dusk to midnight food and culture showcase of the East-Mid-West from June 27th to August 3rd at Mercato Centrale located at the corner of 8th Avenue and 34th Street in BGC.

Have a taste of authentic halal international cuisine cooked on-site with the first ever butlerized halal buffet as Muslim Filipinos and foreign Muslims break their 12-hour fasting daily.

Imported halal food and non-food products are featured in the unique exhibits.

An air-conditioned prayer area is available for Muslims. We hold Maghrib, Aisha, and Taraweeh prayers.

The Ramadhan International Bazaar, to be held annually henceforth, is spearheaded by Halal & Toyyiba Holdings, Inc., a joint venture corporation between Muslim-Filipinos and Malaysian entrepreneurs, in collaboration with L’Opera Group, owner of the top Italian restaurants in the country that are now going halal, and Mercato Centrale Group, the premier organizer of night & day food markets in the metro.

The event is supported by the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).

Five percent of the sales from food and non-food special selections will go to the less privileged and orphans, through the feeding and charity programs of the organizers and in partnership with Islamic Embassies.

The Ramadhan International Bazaar is a first-of-its-kind experience not to be missed!
