LATTE is the best place for breakfast in Kalibo. It opens as early as 7am and offers your breakfast favorites, comfort food and yummy cakes.
It’s conveniently located in the road that leads to the airport and beside the best hotel in Kalibo.
It gets mixed reviews because of inconsistencies, but we love the selection of comfort food.
We kicked off Aidan’s 8th birthday celebration with a yummy breakfast here:

LATTE’s ambiance is a bit cold and dark inside in the morning. It would have been better if they raise the window blinds to let the natural light come in. It’s better to eat in the al fresco section.
We were happy to see a good selection of cakes for the birthday boy to choose from.
LATTE Menu: Sandwiches, Waffles, Pasta | Lunch/Dinner | Soups and Vegetables, Rice, Beverages | From the Espresso Bar
The waffles are good, although they stand improvement by serving them hotter and crunchier.
The sandwich combinations are yummy although they could have used a hoagie roll instead of wheat bread to hold the philly cheese steak.
The sizzling plate of bangus sisig was surprisingly good. I like the presentation and the generous serving of bangus belly.
Spaghetti with Meatballs (P135).
For kids, you can order the spaghetti with meatballs which is how the boys like it – sweeter and with well-cooked meatballs.
This is the best ribs in town and better than Kitty Kitchen’s BBQ Ribs or Saylo’s Spareribs. The beef is tender, the sauce is yummy to the bones, and served hot on a sizzling plate.
Cookies n’ Cream (P95). Ice cream, milk and Oreo cookies blended together until smooth then topped with whipped cream and Oreo Cookies.
That’s what nice about being a Cafe, you have a good selection of after-dinner drinks like this Cookies & Cream milkshake that the birthday boy had requested for his breakfast celebration.
Chocolate Torte (Slice – P70, Cake-P650).
This chocolate torte was soft and moist — not bad.
The sansrival was OK, enough to satisfy your craving when you are in the province.
Overall, it’s a safe restaurant choice that offers comfort food to satisfy your craving when you are in the municipality of Kalibo. It is best for breakfast, stopover coffee snack on the way to the airport, or an after-dinner dessert place.
You can eat in SAYLO and walk for dessert in LATTE.

Full Disclosure: We paid for our family trip to Kalibo. I wrote this blog post myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I have no business relationship with any company mentioned in this post or any organization promoting it. As a policy, I don’t receive compensation from food and travel places we feature in the blog.
P.S. I would recommend the Marzon Hotel as the best modern hotel in Kalibo. It’s the best place to stay during Ati-Atihan and they have a swimming pool for the kids to enjoy. You have to reserve months in advance because they get booked easily with tourists.

Hello! Is this place otw to caticlan port? I’m arriving earlier than my friends and expecting at least a 3hr wait. I’m thinking if I should get a tric ride to this place to wait for them and just have them pick me up on the way. What do you think? Or should I just stay near the airport, like in Miggy’s. Thanks!
