We are ready to announce the “Yummy 14” winners of Ultimate Taste Test 7.0 at Mercato Centrale in Bonifacio Global City! 🙂

I was thrilled because it was the first time we held the UTT event in Mercato Centrale — our home turf.

It was a lot of fun even though there were long lines that merged into one choo-choo train line around and outside the tent.

We had the right combination of savoury and sweet products that delighted the foodies.

It was my first time to meet Jim Paredes, Erica’s dad, at UTT 7.0!

I was happy to meet Sam Miguel, Mr. Movember PI himself! Check out Movember PI

“Movember PI is the Philippines’ version of a moustache growing charity event held during November each year to raise funds and awareness for a good cause. Movember is a portmanteau of the words ‘moustache’ and ‘November’.

At the start of November, guys register with a clean shaven face. The participants, known locally as Mo Barkadas, have the remainder of the month to grow and groom their Mo, raising money along the way to benefit men’s health – specifically prostate cancer or some local charity.”

We had a lovely foodie crowd that supported UTT 7.0. 🙂

There was a good selection of meat, from Japanese Lechon to Wagyu Beef.

The meat from Dulcelin, which are cooked sous-vide, are always a hit. 🙂

We also had unique food items like the Tilapia Ice Cream!

There was a great assortment of desserts, too. To name a few, we had cupcakes, ice cream, cookies, chocolates, gelato…

… and my personal favorite — Jack Daniel’s Brownies!
