Recently, my wife and I had the chance to meet one of the most popular personalities in the local entertainment industry — Dingdong Dantes. After the interview, we concluded that although he’s a big celebrity, he’s still simple and down-to-earth. We had fun chatting with him about his favorite Japanese, Filipino and Mediterranean restaurants. He even shared with us his favorite comfort food and the secret behind the new Steakhouse restaurant in Makati. I invite you to eavesdrop on our conversation.

In Part 2 of the video, Dingdong talks about his favorite travel destinations in the Philippines. 🙂

Also, he answers questions on what to expect at the Book Run on January 31 (for the benefit of the Yes Pinoy Foundation). In the video, he explains that the foundation supports kids of fallen Philippine Marines, a cause he endorses because he is a part of the Marine Reserves himself.

He invites all Our Awesome Planet readers to join him and participate in the Book Run. (He’ll be running 3k at the moment and hindi raw sure if Marian will run…)
