I would like to invite you to an experimental Wednesday Foodie Group. The first meet-up kicks off next week. Each Wednesday, there will be a different theme. This invite is open to OAP Friends (up to a maximum of 10 foodies each Wednesday during the experimental phase). It’s on a first-come, first-served basis. Email me at [email protected] to reserve your slot!
This concept is inspired by Paco Magsaysay’s The Tuesday Group.
I would like to invite you to go with the Flow! It is a unique way to spend the Nov.28 weekend by enjoying Yoga Sessions in the morning with Monica, Surfing in La Union the entire day with Luke, and Learning to Dance Samba at night with Toni. (See the OAP bonuses below if you happen to be one of the first three persons who will join this unique weekend escape!)
Finally, Coca-Cola released these cool contour glasses shaped like the sexy Coca-Cola bottle (and yes, glass na talaga siya at hindi plastic…). It comes in six colors: Pink, Green, Blue, Lime, Charcoal and Purple. I love the Animo Green Glass
There’s a new kebab place in Fort Bonifacio, and it’s our new favorite! In fact, we visited twice because we loved the Chicken Kebab and the Garlic Sauce so much that we had to go back. The Kebab Factory at the Fort is the second outlet already (the first one is in Megamall Atrium). It is making an impression on the Fort Bonifacio dining scene because it offers Mediterranean Food tailor-fit to the Filipino taste. It is owned by an Indian who practically grew up in the Philippines and speaks Filipino well.
We have our favorites and we already noted the dishes to avoid next time. We wanted this to be our secret favorite place but I can’t help but share a good restaurant like this with OAP friends… Check it out and let us know what you think, ok?
The 2010 Starbucks Planner is finally here! After a controversially inferior planner last year, there are lower expectations for its successor. With the original ones, people just loved them and brought them everywhere, especially to meetings. But as for last year’s planners, people still collected them but few really used them.
Update time! There’s a new chef in Establishment. Also, the secret French Restaurant, Crystal Room, has been open for quite some time. So this restaurant complex is now composed of the Tulipan – Spanish Tapas Bar, The Hall – new Japanese menu, and The Crystal Room – French Cuisine. I heard that the twelve-person, private dining Chef’s table and the Asian Restaurant on the second floor will open in time for the holiday season. (Please email me if you are privy to the details of the opening date.)
I was pleasantly surprised that the prices in Crystal Room are quite affordable, given the top quality of French food. For P500 – P1,000 per head, you could already enjoy the elegance and quiet escape offered by this secret French restaurant in the Fort. Of course, they earn a lot from the overpriced cocktails and having you hang around in the Hall before and after your Crystal Room dining experience. But still, Crystal Room is the best French deal in town — with great service from well-trained staff, sosy decor, and French food that even the French would love at an affordable price.
I’ve always been interested with capturing the pure raw emotions when people eat. I wanted to capture the true “mukhasim” shot, or the heavenly “hmmmn” facial reaction after eating really good food. Also, I wanted to discover other ways to execute “the eating or drinking shot”. So, can you beat Aidan and Joshua’s Eating Shots above?
The Best Eating Shot wins P2,000 Worth of Ayala eGC’s! (And a chance to win a brand new Nokia Phone, too!)
And the winner of the The Cutest and Most Unique Halloween Costume for Week 4 is…
