Ever tasted the Batangas goto in Bulacan? There's this store cum thrift shop along Matimbo, Bulacan and they serve the tastiest Batangas goto and La Paz batchoy. Plus they also have a very good Adobo cooked with malunggay. Place is good, set in a garden/kubo type store...very homey feeling.

Do ussgest you also feature restaurants outside Metro Manila and Luzon. There are a lot of good restaurants in Cebu or in the VisMin areas. Thanks
Posted by: NGW | November 26, 2010 at 10:51 AM
There are a lot of amazing restaurants and new concepts in the VisMin areas that you can't find in Manila or Luzon, kindly take a look at some of these places, just to mention a few:
1. Bee Farm in Bohol - Herbs and Flowers dishes
2. Adventure Cafe in Cebu - The First Restaurant -Adventure in the Phils.
3. River Cruise Restos in cagayan de Oro, Bohol and Davao
4. Crocodile Farm in Davao - Exotic crocodile and ostrich dishes

I've been to Adventure Cafe in transcentral highway, Balamban, Cebu. It's one of a kind experience. I haven't seen a restaurant anywhere in the world with the same concept. Imagine a zipline, wall climbing, rapelling and de-stress wall inside the resto. You can literally do your adventure activities while waiting for your orders. Food is Great and prices are very reasonable.
Posted by: scarlet | November 26, 2010 at 11:11 AM
@scarlet: Agree, been at Adventure Cafe during the Columbia Duathlon Run sponsored by ROX and Columbia. The place is really awesome. The food is great and haven't seen that resto concept ever since. Resturant-Adventure as they claim truy speaks of the place aside from the ambience, the place is cool, foogy and it's good to chill and relax aside from the adventure based activities where you can have fun while waiting for our orders. It's a must visit destination in the Philippines for Food lovers and Adventure enthusiast as well.

Peter: thanks for the input. Would surely love to visit these places in the VisMIn Areas. There are really a lot of great restaurants that we need to explore that are beyond comparison, in-fact far more better than restaurants found in Manila.
