I would like to personally invite you to join us for a 7-Day Culinary, Cultural & Pilgrimage Tour of Northern Italy!

I'm personally excited about this trip because we will be going on our first European Food Trip in 2013 from Milan, Padova, Venice, Bassano, Verona and Vicenza in the Northeastern Part of Italy.

Also, I'm excited to go finally to a Pilgrimage to my Patron Saint -- Saint Anthony of Padova (Padua in English). Saint Anthony is popularly known as the patron saint of lost articles but little do people know that he also helped a lot of Filipino entrepreneur devotees with miracles in their businesses. We will have a Sunday English Mass at Saint Anthony Basilica:)

Finally, we will go on a romantic tour of Venice, the city in the sea and Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet :)  Of course, there will be enough free time to do your own shopping!

Journey to the central heartland as we immerse ourselves in things Kapampangan!

From Buro to Baroque, it's a fun-filled day as we poke around and get intimate with the very best of Pampanga's cultural offerings. Gaze at the jewel-box of a church in Betis while wading through the lahar-buried town of Bacolor.

Must-Go Mayoyao Expedition!

One of my travel goals this year is to go to Mayoyao in Ifugao, which is famed to be one of the most beautiful communities with rice terraces in the Cordilleras. My friend JP Alipio, who was our master tour guide during our Batad trip (see:  Ultimate Guide to Batad, Banaue), is arranging the awesome Mayoyao trip this coming June 12-14 and August 28-30. I'm joining one of the tours and I would like to invite you to join Cordillera Expeditions.

BGC Food Tour with Ivan Man Dy :)

The Food Tour of Ivan Man Dy (of Old Manila Walks fame) in Bonifacio Global City last April 24 was great! It's actually a restaurant tour organized by Bonifacio Global City management to promote selected restaurants in Serendra, Bonifacio High Street (BHS) and Fort Strip.

The best thing about it is it's for FREE and open to BHS, Serendra and Fort Strip visitors. You can register as walk-in guests at the Concierge Desk in Bonifacio High Street for the upcoming May 1, 2pm tour.

May 1 – 3 – Ultimate Pagudpud and Vigan Culinary and Heritage Tour

 

Tour Description:
 It's about time you experience the ABCs of the Ilocandia: antiques, bagnet and churches! In Ilocos, nature and history is intertwined. But at Ultimate Philippines, we think this is combo best savored with bagnet and beer so we're exploring this provincial belle… our style!

Let's journey up to the north and take a time-warp through the colonial city of Vigan. We'll walk through cobbles, munching our way through the town's traditional street fare and home-cooked feasts, from yummy empanadas to tasty longganisas.

More historical bites and pinakbet pizza as we take a peek at the life of ex-strongman Ferdinand Marcos in the town of Batac and admire two masterpieces of Ilocos' unique Earthquake Baroque architecture: Paoay and Santa Maria Church.

Capping off, we'll surf through the waves of Mairaira Beach in Pagudpud ending our journey in time to join the revelries of the annual Tres de Mayo fiesta in Vigan.
