We collaborated with JB for a comic biography of OAP, entitled Our Awesome Story.
We wanted to document and share our love story to our boys and to the future DIAZ generations.
A lot of people are curious about how Rache and I met, and we usually only reveal that story to our closest friends and family.
As we celebrate the 9th year anniversary of our marriage, we wanted to share the story to our OAP readers and friends. Thank you so much for all your loving support throughout these years!

Anton here. First of all, thank you for all your awesome support for Our Awesome Planet (OAP) for the last 6.5 years. Thanks for all the 614 survey feedback responses last year which greatly influenced my directions and plans for OAP.
After a year, I would like to get feedback on how Our Awesome Planet blog met your expectation.
I am excited for 2012 as we prepare to expand internationally. I would like to share with you some of my plans and get your honest feedback through this survey.
Thank you to all those who expressed their support for Our Awesome Planet. We felt the love and hugs of family, friends and readers who matter most to us.
Our Awesome Planet is NOT connected with, compensated by, or represented by any PR firm that would resort to restaurant extortion. We abhor that practice.
We don't get advertising from restaurants or places we feature, and freebies pre- or post-blog posts to avoid conflict of interest. Otherwise, we disclose it specifically at the end of each blog post.
We are committed to promoting the best restaurants, the best home-based businesses and the most awesome places in the Philippines. We blog about happy experiences and we learned from our past mistakes not to blog about unpleasant experiences.
Our Awesome Planet will continue to document the food and travel adventures of our family.
One thing is for sure -- we will have a Bigger & Better Blogosphere in Manila after this expose.
Our conscience is clear and we do hope that the truth will come out soon.

Full Disclosure: Nothing to disclose. I am not related to, connected with or compensated in any way by any of the establishments we feature in our blog posts. I'm not connected with, compensated by, or represented by any PR firm.
P.S. My favorite chef, who cooks the best lengua that I've ever tasted in Manila, is interested to join Mercato Centrale! Watch out for him there! For sure, foodies will rave about his food!
Marvin is launching his fatherhood advocacy on Raising
Filipino Boys to become Men. The thoughts and realizations I share as a dad are my contributions to his advocacy. Also, check out Marvin's interesting post on what Fathers really want on Father's Day.
Aidan, Joshua and I got food poisoning (we suspect) last Sunday. We are recovering from it and I would like to share with you some facts and strategies on how to deal with it. When we visited the Makati Medical Center Emergency Room, I think most of the complaints that night were about upset stomachs or cases of food poisoning. I believe we got the same treatment, advice and prescription.
Like most of Filipino families, we would spend Christmas alternating between the mother-side of the family and the father-side. This Christmas, both of our parents are in the US for the first time so we celebrated Christmas with our siblings and cousins.
