Updated 12/6/11: Here is the photo and a size perspective of the 6x8 Awesome Planner.
Dear Traveling Foodie,
Mabuhay from Our Awesome Planet!
2012 is the year of the Foodie Road Trips. There's no better way to have a grand year than by experiencing the awesome foodie havens that our country has to offer. This planner has been designed to help you maximize the full potential of your road trips.
I would like to thank all those who supported the first release of the Awesome Planner. I have incorporated all the suggestions in this release. I hope you like this new product designed with the foodie in mind.
Quezon will be my next Road Food Trip destination in 2012, specifically because of the relaunch of Balesin (which is south of Polillo Island), the beautiful and laidback beaches of Cagbalete Islands (via Mauban Quezon) and BonPen, the new destination in the 3rd district of Quezon.
Anton here. First of all, thank you for all your awesome support for Our Awesome Planet (OAP) for the last 6.5 years. Thanks for all the 614 survey feedback responses last year which greatly influenced my directions and plans for OAP.
After a year, I would like to get feedback on how Our Awesome Planet blog met your expectation.
I am excited for 2012 as we prepare to expand internationally. I would like to share with you some of my plans and get your honest feedback through this survey.
The OAP Travel Planner is out! We are releasing 1,000 copies ONLY since this is a limited edition batch to get input and feedback to make a killer 2012 Travel Planner. :) We released the first batch of planners already, and this is one of the best feedbacks I received:
I just received the OAP 2011 Planner. Bro, I couldn’t believe that you’re just selling this for P600. This is waaaaay better than the P2,500 planner that I buy. I have a question, why the heck didn’t you think about this a long time ago?!?
Kidding aside, this is truly a fantastic planner!!! Now, I can’t wait for your 2012 OAP Planner. Just a small suggestion for the 2012 OAP Planner, if you can, add a latch or a ‘rubber’ thingy so that it will hold the planner close.
Kind Regards, Romeo Gonzales III
This planner is great for summer travel and a unique gift for Valentine's since it is a limited edition copy only.
This is the beta edition of the Our Awesome Planet Guide Book. I'm only accepting input for the 2012 edition from owners of the 2011 guide book/planner, though. I have a lot of ideas in mind and I need your help to focus on items that would benefit the foodies and travelers of the Philippines.
It is available only in Midnight Mercato starting tonight, 10pm-3am and Mercato Centrale Saturdays/Sundays, 7am to 2pm. You can also buy it from the Philippine Travel Fair in SMX from February 18-20, 2011 (until supplies last).
Here are 8 Tips on how you can use the OAP Guide Book/Travel Planer for Summer 2011:
Life is too short to waste on the usual day-to-day activities and meaningless travel. Over the 5+ years of exploring the Philippines, I've discovered the most awesome adventures guaranteed to make your hearts race and rave. These are the experiences that left indelible memories in my mind. I'm sharing these with you because these are the adventures that make the Philippines truly awesome!
Thank you to all those who expressed their support for Our Awesome Planet. We felt the love and hugs of family, friends and readers who matter most to us.
Our Awesome Planet is NOT connected with, compensated by, or represented by any PR firm that would resort to restaurant extortion. We abhor that practice.
We don't get advertising from restaurants or places we feature, and freebies pre- or post-blog posts to avoid conflict of interest. Otherwise, we disclose it specifically at the end of each blog post.
We are committed to promoting the best restaurants, the best home-based businesses and the most awesome places in the Philippines. We blog about happy experiences and we learned from our past mistakes not to blog about unpleasant experiences.
Our Awesome Planet will continue to document the food and travel adventures of our family.
One thing is for sure -- we will have a Bigger & Better Blogosphere in Manila after this expose.
Our conscience is clear and we do hope that the truth will come out soon.
Full Disclosure: Nothing to disclose. I am not related to, connected with or compensated in any way by any of the establishments we feature in our blog posts. I'm not connected with, compensated by, or represented by any PR firm.
P.S. My favorite chef, who cooks the best lengua that I've ever tasted in Manila, is interested to join Mercato Centrale! Watch out for him there! For sure, foodies will rave about his food!
