TOKYO through the Lens of the LG G6 (Photo Essay)

TOKYO through the Lens of the LG G6 (Photo Essay)

Shibuya Crossing
It's been said that the best camera is the one that's in your hand, ready to shoot.

This belief has made mobile photography an indispensable tool for any travel blogger, especially with phones improving their photo resolution over the years, making pictures ready for publishing any time on the blog.

LG has always been a leader in this regard. I love the wide angle lens of their camera phones and their ability to capture entire scenes, like the iconic Shibuya Crossing. And with the latest G6 model having a food mode setting, you can now also capture beautiful shots of your eats with ease.

Here's a photo essay to kick off our family Tokyo trip series with the four boys, as captured through the lens of the LG G6...

Gyumeshi Breakfast

We graduated from eating breakfast at 7-Eleven when we discovered this yummy 24-hour gyumeshi place called Matsuya.

Tsukiji Inner Market
Can you imagine the business that goes through Tsukiji, especially Hicho, the biggest wholesaler of fish in the market?

Grilled Scallops and Uni - Tsukiji Outer Market
There's more than just sushi when you eat in the Tsukiji outer market! Our favorite is the grilled scallop topped with uni.

Tokyo Disneyland Love
We had a chance to finally bring Yugi with his brothers to the happiest places in Tokyo--Disneyland & DisneySea!

Turkey Leg at Disney Parade

They say the food in Disneyland isn't good--except in Tokyo. Try the turkey leg, chicken leg, and hot chocolate with churros.

Shibuya at Night

We enjoyed walking under all the Japanese signs and eating at Shibuya, especially at night.

Hachiko

There's always time for a souvenir photo of Hachiko with Aidan, Joshua, Raphael, and Yugi-boy.

Tokyoeki Ikaruga - Best Ramen at Ramen Street

Can't get enough of Tokyoeki Ikaruga ramen--the most delicious ramen along Ramen Street in Tokyo Station!

Takeshita Street Harajuku_
Walking along Takeshita Street in Harajuku, Tokyo in preparation for the teenage years of our eldest son, Aidan. :)

Cotton Candy Fight Harajuku

I love it that we get to enjoy simple treats with our boys, like fighting over this rainbow cotton candy at Harajuku.

Tokyo Disneyland Splash Mountain

My son Joshua wanted to ride Splash Mountain. It was like a rite of passage for him in conquering his fear of roller coasters.

Tokyo DisneySea

We love DisneySea (more than Disneyland in Tokyo) and their new attraction called Sea Rider simulation.

Kaminarimon Gate

We discovered what to eat and do at the Kaminarimon Shopping Street in Asakusa (the "u" is silent).

Asakusa Cosplay

Looking forward to sharing the story of our Japanese Family Cosplay experience!
