FLOW HOUSE MANILA: Surf Day and Night, Everyday at Philippine’s First Surf Park! @FlowHouseManila

Flow 4

Hidden from plain sight and tucked away inside a quiet compound somewhere in Cavite. Flow House Manila is a surfer’s dream secret surf spot.

Just like any other Surf spots, Flow House Manila is a sports entertainment venue that mixes surfing, good food, family, friends, and parties with a couple of beers in Manila’s first ever artificial flow surfing by Flow House International.

Located in Bacoor, Cavite or just 1 hour away from Manila. Flow House is a small gem with gnarly big wave’s all year round.

Flow 6

The venue is home to the first ever Flowrider in Manila which is made even better by incorporating dining, bar/drinks and a lap pool with a cool hangout spot for those who simply wants to watch or enjoy the place.

Flow 2

The Flow House brand originally started in San Diego California and was only brought to life here in the Philippines, last 2015.

Flow 1

Now the Flow House brand has over 220 official branches worldwide and is now making big waves in the country.

Flow 9

So what is Flowboarding? It’s basically a combination of the 2 fastest growing extreme sports in the world – surfing and skateboarding. Flowsurfing takes the looks and feels of surfing and combines it with the extreme tricks of skateboarding.

Flow 8

Flowrider, on the other hand, is the attraction that generates the strong sheet of water that flows in a form of an endless, perfect ocean wave that surfers ride to perform tricks.

Flow 12

And despite its mean looks, the Flowrider is actually very safe because the platform is made out of a soft spongy like membrane that absorbs pain from the falls, all the time. Hence making it friendly to all ages.

Flow 7

Price starts at P650 per hour inclusive of the board and instructor fees. It’s really not bad if you want to experience the thrill of surfing without the hassle of traveling to a far and crowded surf spot.

Flow 10

Like any other sports out there, there is definitely a learning curve to riding the board. And you will mostly like fall on your first few tries before you get the hang of it.

Flow 11

So the first lesson before everyone starts is to purposely throw yourself into the Flowrider in order to get a feel of the power and gentleness of falling in the wave pit. And trust me! This is the only place in the world wherein it feels good to fall face first.

Flow 13

Nothing beats a good laugh while watching you and your friends fall over and over again again with that awesome sunset view in the background.

Flow 4

Surfing at this time of day is perfect for those who just got out of work or for those who simply feel like getting burned under the sun. It also feels awesome to know that you can still ride and surf waves even at night knowing that you are very safe.

It also feels awesome to know that you can still ride and surf waves even at night knowing that you are very safe.

Flow 5

Come night time, this is where Flow House Manila shines the most. Due to its artificial nature and nightlife scene, they can host night rides and parties up to 10 pm.

Flow 16

The place looks even better with an inviting pool and those cozy lounges at the back. A perfect place for friends to hang out and drink the night away. Group packages and events are also held at the Flow House Manila.

Flow 14

Anyway back to riding. Soon after you pass “Fall Test” with flying colors. Riders are then introduced to “Body Boarding” or surfing while laying flat on your stomach, much like real world surfing.

This type of Flowsurfing is easier and is meant to familiarize you with the feel of riding the board.

Flow 15

Special props to our very patient instructor Julius for helping us all learn the basics of riding the board and taming the waves.

Flow 18

And after a couple tries, we finally had the courage to ride the board while standing up, but with the help of guide lines and some careful coaching at first.

Flow 17

Eventually, everyone from the group was able to stand up and surf the waves, even those thinking they couldn’t, still did. It only goes to show that no matter how hard the task is, as long as you put heart to it you will eventually succeed.

At the end of the day, the only things that matter is that you had fun with whoever you’re with.

Flow 19

Overall, we loved our short but sweet stay in Flow House Manila. Our 1-hour session was more than enough for my whole group to get the basics and be able to stand up on our own.

Plus it gets really tiring on your thighs even after just 30secs. It may look effortless but it actually felt like a whole-body workout once we were done.

It’s also a good thing that the place has its own small bar and resto for riders who wishes to rest or socialize a bit after riding. 10 out 10 we would definitely be back with more friends, family, and guts to surf more waves in this excitingly new experience.

Tip: Best to come either early morning or late at night so there will be fewer riders and you could have the whole Flowrider to yourself.

  1. Hi Juanico,

Way cool that you have day surfing and night surfing covered. Good deal. I am fascinated by surfing; watch from the shores and live vicariously through brave souls. This could be a way for me to dip my toes in without diving in to the ocean.

  2. Great post! I should really get the feel of the surfing board here first, before even trying in the open sea. Thanks for sharing!

  3. May I inquire for our Summer Outing on April 17, 2020 the following:

Do you have a cottage or a pavilion?

    How much per person/per hour?
