The world’s musical greats are coming to the Philippines once again for a celebration of arts music and culture in Malasimbo!
On it’s 7th year now, the most sustainable of its kind, the annual contemporary international music festival welcomes 2017 with a strengthened and more solidified purpose.

The location will be in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines, about 130 kilometers south of Manila.
Specifically within the mystical foothills of Mt. Malasimbo.
The music will be from Jazz to Modern to contemporaries; genres we don’t get to hear often in one festival.
Alfredo Rodriguez – Jazz Music
This grammy-nominated cuban pianist and composer, Alfredo Rodriguez by Quincy Jones will be taking over Jazz Music. His albums are not only collections of musical pieces but tales told in a distinctive voice, with a distinct point of view and purpose.
Jordan Rakei – Soul Music
The Brisbane based artist (musician, producer, singer, songwriter), who only began performing for audiences nationwide with his experimental blend of lo-fi soul at the end of 2013, is a raw and rare commodity.
Tennyson – Indie Music
Get familiar with this brother-sister act, Tennyson who can turn anything – even the beep of a car seatbelt alarm – into an electronic reverie.
The event will also feature DJs.
“Your favourite dj’s favourite dj” Lefto. One the most important tastemakers Europe has to offer.
Global nomad, Kristian Hernandez with his post-modern music.
Silent disco-where music is transmitted via headphones.
Over the years, more than 50 visual artists have showcased their works at the stunning festival grounds. For their 6th anniversary, Malasimbo will feature close to 30 unique installations by the country’s top visual artists.

At night, the venue is transformed into a tropical wonderland.
Additionally will be a six-day yoga retreat at the Malasimbo grounds will be happening from March 8 to13 coinciding with the festival with Australia Yogi, Cameron Brown a.k.a. MCShureshock, who will part take in hosting the event.
Malasimbo and the d’Aboville Foundation are also currently raising funds for the Liter of Light workshop, which will be a solar lamp build-and-donate activity geared to help light a Mangyan home. For P1,000, you can purchase a lamp kit online and through bank deposit.
