32 Galleries  make up this year's showcase where you can find exhibitioners as well as the artists themselves, who will be more than happy to answer questions or entertain potential buyers.

There are also walking tours available daily, starting at 11am - 4:30pm. It's a good way to get a feel and a bit of background information on the artists and their works.

There are hundreds of artworks for you to appreciate and tons to explore.

Here are some of the few that stood out to us:

ArtManila1

'Armour 1'  By Cris Eguaras

A still photo doesn't do this Kinetic sculpture justice. It spins with an almost hypnotic rhythm.

ArtManila5

'>' By Rovi Salegumba

A more traditional piece. The complexities and techniques that went into creating this  Oil Painting are almost lost on the calm and peaceful demeanor of the subjects.

ArtManila12

'Human TRAPicking' By Arnel Garcia

Art has always been a way to spread awareness.

ArtManila11

'Townsfolk Of Old Manila' By Dominic Rubio

A beautiful throwback to colonial times. Rubio's works are highly sought after in the US and Canada.

ArtManila9

'Racing' By David Gerstein

Made from Aluminum that has been cut using a laser, the piece is then hand painted.  Gerstein likes to capture life in color and movement – a  theme common in his work.

ArtManila8

'Unripened Fruits Wandering' By Mark Villanueva

This young girl seems to have a lot on her mind.

ArtManila13

'KNML/LNMK Kwento Ng Mga Larawan/Larawan Ng Mga Kwento' By Azor Pazcoguin

Grey tones signify caution and compromise, a reflection on Pazcoguin as he matures in his craft.

ArtManila17

'Templo de Tulum' By Manuel D. Baldemor

Inspired by the ruins of Mexico, Baldemor's exhibition was created in commemoration of the Manila-Acapulco Galleon Trade.

ArtManila6

'Wild Heart' By Daniel Dela Cruz

A crowd favorite, Dela Cruz was able to capture the beauty and gracefulness of human movement in his set of intricate metal sculptures.

If you have an appreciation for fine arts or you are interested in attending an art show, we recommend  you take the time this weekend to see ManilArt 2016 before it ends.

You'll have a chance to see and meet some of the best artists in their craft , both locally and internationally.  And the best thing is that ManilArt isn't as formal as you'd expect, the vibe is casual, and if you're new to art shows, you'd probably be surprised by how laid back it all is.

Looking forward to ManilArt 2017.  Congratulations to all the participants and good luck!
