We liked the cozy ambiance of Leh-Leh, and the Tin dining ware was an excellent touch.

Seating is minimal; three tables and one bar, avoid peak hours if you don’t like crowds.

Green Papaya Salad (P150). Julienned green papaya tossed in a sweet chili lime sauce.

Another staple Thai food, the citrus, and spiciness were balanced perfectly with the sweet and sour elements of the sauce. Healthy and filling.

Pomelo and Shrimp Salad (P225). Pomelo and greens tossed in a light dressing.

A common dish throughout SE Asia. The Thai version incorporates coconut milk, this adds a layer of richness to what is a typically crisp and citrusy salad. The salad was great but seemed to need more pomelo.

Fried Catfish Salad (P225). Catfish floss atop a bed of fresh greens and green mango.

The crispy and salty textures of the catfish are cut by the sharp tang of fresh green mango and chilis. The combination works surprisingly well and is a staple beer food in Thailand. Good but our least favorite.

Tom-Yung Goong (175). Hot and sour soup with prawns and aromatic spices

A must-try when visiting Leh-Leh!

The freshness of the ingredients and the fragrance of the lemongrass soup really hit home. This was the standout dish, much cleaner and lighter on the palette compared to other Tom-Yung Goong recipes.   We really loved this we only wish the serving was bigger. 🙂

Chicken and Pork Satay (P175). Grilled Chicken and  Pork Skewers seasoned with turmeric and spices.

The dipping sauce isn’t the typical thick peanut sauce usually accompanying Satay.

Pandan Chicken (P175). Boneless chicken wrapped in Pandan leaves and fried.

Another must-try. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the balance of spices let the Pandan flavor really stand out. Warning: you may need an extra serving of rice!

Pad Thai (P325)Rice noodles sauteed in a sweet and sour mix of vinegar , fish sauce, and sweet tamarind sauce.  With Tofu, Bean Sprouts, Egg and Shrimp.

A nice touch is the ability to add your sauces and chili after serving. Go light on the tamarind sauce as it can make the dish too sweet. If you love spicy don’t be shy to ask for  extra chili!

Leh-Leh blends in perfectly with Chef Sau’ concept at Cafe Fleur and is a perfect place to go when craving fresh Thai cuisine — with a slightly modern twist.

The best thing about Leh-Leh was how Chef Sau was able to capture authentic Thai flavors and balance them for the Filipino palette.

Order the Tom-Yung Goong, Pandan Chicken and Pad Thai. Budget about P300/head.

We love Chef Sau’s concepts, Congrats!
