CRUPCAKE is a croissant and cupcake hybrid created by Sonja, which looks like a circular croissant with filling–think of it as a crusty cream puff. The crupcake is coated with sugar and resembles a cupcake ensaymada.
It’s another brilliant innovation by Sonja, now available at the Cupcakes by Sonja flagship store at Serendra.

Here are some tips for an awesome crupcake experience…
The crupcakes are baked fresh daily from 9 am to 11 am at Cupcakes by Sonja, Serendra.
It’s best to have the freshly baked crupcakes just as they’ve come out of the oven.
The flavors are added upon order. You can choose from six flavors: Banana Nutella, Pecan Pie, Peanut Butter-Speculoos, Ferrero, Matcha, and Lemon Meringue.
You can buy them in a box of 4 and give as a gift to your special someone. These are best eaten within the day.
My favorite flavors are the Banana Nutella and Peanut Butter-Speculoos.

The crupcake itself is really good but just a bit too sweet. Each costs P95.
I hope they can offer breakfast savory options in the future to enjoy in the mornings, like Malagos goat cheese crupcake topped with 75% Malagos chocolate, or a Filipino crupcake version collaboration with Risa.
