1. Chorizo on Piggy Back (Terry’s Selection) P310
World Class Chef, Juan Carlos de Terry, tells us a bit about his special flambé dish–Chorizo on Piggyback. To kickstart our meal, Chef Terry prepared the chorizo in a dramatic way by placing it on top of a pig clay pot, fueled by brandy and flambéed to perfection.
The chorizo, made from Iberico pork, is made with a special blend of smoked herbs and spices, like Pimenton de la Vera, which is an exquisite spice to first acquire the coveted status of the Denomination de Origen.
Best paired with their wide selection of wines, we loved how the spice gives the Spanish chorizo its inimitable kick. The flavors are perfectly balanced and elevated by the brandy-fueled flame that crisps the skin perfectly. It’s a fantastic dish, and a must try for anyone who loves Spanish cuisine.

2. LES Addiction (L.E.S. Bagels) P470
Craving for New York Style Bagels? The LES Addiction at L.E.S Bagels is the perfect classic New York breakfast staple–Choose between a Pumpernickel or Everything on top bagel with scallion cream cheese, LOX, fresh tomato, sliced red onion, and capers.
The L.E.S. Addiction is their signature bagel, and it’s like an oversized salmon bagel cut into half so that you can share it or take the other half home with you. The bagel was delicious! It had a crispy outer crust and a very chewy-but-not-tough inside. To our delight, the bagel was packed with generous servings.
We love the combination of the cream cheese with salmon, capers, and the red onions! Perfection. 🙂

3. Bacon Chips (Lucky’s Burger) P275
Attention, Bacon Lovers: get baconized with this yummy Filipino take on the classic Honey Bacon! Their bestseller is the Bacon Chips, which is salty and smoky bacon marinated in their homemade sauce, dipped with either store-made Sinamak Vinegar or chili garlic sauce.
It’s a perfect mood-lifter and goes well with breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You can even snack on it…we won’t judge. We also liked their homemade apple pie topped with vanilla ice cream.

4. Excalibur Kebab (Wursty Wursty) P900
Craving for meat? Take on the Excallibur Kebab for beef and chicken served on a sword! Wursty Wursty is known not only for their specialty German dishes but more so for their Turkish kebabs.
The tender and juicy kebabs come in two variants–beef and chicken meat are seasoned with oregano, paprika, cumin, salt and pepper and more. Garnished with bell peppers, onions, tomatoes with pita bread, and salad on the sides. It’s a little bit salty but a monstrous challenge for the barkada!

5. Chicken Butternut Poutine (Main Street) P220
Are you a fries fanatic? Enjoy them even more with Main Street’s Chicken Butternut Poutine. This pacific Northwest Fare dish is a Canadian favorite served with buttermilk fried chicken bits, hand-cut fries drizzled with chicken gravy, and cheese curds. Great when paired with Blue Moon beer!

Craving for Mexican? The Beef Barbacoa is loaded with imported beef, cheese, rice, beans, corn, veggies, and a copious amount of Mexican sauces!
It’s a big dish great for sharing. Try out their famous Ballpark Nachos, which have meat, cheese, guacamole, and other condiments on every level.

7. Okonomiyaki (Nihonkai Tsukiji) P280
A favorite Japanese snack, Okonomiyaki is also known as the Traditional Japanese Pizza or Pancake. The word “Okonomi” means “what you like” and ” yaki” meaning grilled. They prepare the Okonomiyaki Kansai-style, where the batter and ingredients are mixed together and then grilled.
The Japanese Pancake is crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside that is filled with egg, cabbage, pork, seafood, and topped with Japanese sauce and mayo, dried seaweeds, and dried bonito flakes. If you love Takoyaki, you would find the taste and texture of the dish to be quite similar. Best eaten while it’s hot!

8. Tom Yum Soup (Black Canyon Coffee) P253
Aside from coffee, Black Canyon serves popular Thai dishes like Tom Yum, noodle, and curry dishes. Even if Tom Yum is the most popular dish in Thailand, Black Canyon’s take on it gained recognition by winning the Tom Yum Soup Championship.
The dish has prawns, galangal, kaffir leaves, lemongrass, onions, straw mushrooms, chili oil, fresh lime, and topped with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
The Tom Yum is characterized by its distinct hot and sour flavors, with fragrant herbs generously added. It’s a perfect dish for spice lovers and best enjoyed during rainy weather.

9. Chocolate Cake with Valhrona Cacao Nibs and Maldon Sea Salt Flakes (Sophie’s Mom) P180/slice
For dessert, try the Chocolate Cake with Valhrona Cacao Nibs, made by esteemed French Chocolatiers, and Maldon Sea Salt. Sophie’s Mom served us a rich and moist chocolate cake glazed with more chocolate, chocolate nibs, and sea salt for that unexpected crunch.
It was delectable and just the right amount of sweet.

Perfect for a sophisticated night out with the gang. You’d be surprised with Planet Grape’s food and wine pairings.
Chardonnay is traditionally known to go with fish, but Planet Grapes is inviting guests to explore how well local street food pairs with wine. In this adventurous pairing, Planet Grapes is offering their Sauvignon Blanc with balut, the quintessential Filipino street food.
We love their wine pairing concept, and it was a great experience to enjoy wine in a more adventurous way.
