LE PETIT SOUFFLÉ is a French-Japanese Comfort Food concept by Pastry Chef Miko Paras, with Kristine Lotilla and Chef Noel Mauricio, in partnership with Charles Paw of Hole in the Wall.

Here’s what to order and what to expect when dining at Le Petit Soufflé…

Le Petit Soufflé is located at the 3rd floor of Century City Mall, in between Fully Booked and Dyson store.

The interior resembles a cute French café with a garden dining ambiance and hipster Japanese accents.

Best seats are by the tables where your back is against the windows, or at the end under the mini-greenhouses.

Le Petit Souffle-6.jpg
✮ Yakult + Guava (P375 +10% service charge). 1L carafe.

This drink is recommended for Yakult lovers–refreshing with a sweet-sour finish from the guava.

Le Petit Souffle-5.jpg
Cold Matcha Latte with Matcha softee (P170 +10% service charge)

This one’s for matcha addicts and a personal favorite of Charles Paw. A bit too sweet and indulgent so better not start off with this.

Le Petit Souffle - First Time-8.jpgSesame Crusted Tuna Salad (P345 +10% service charge). Seared tuna loin, garden greens, shimeji, tobiko with sesame-wasabi dressing on the side.

The seared tuna we got was still icy when served and didn’t taste well. Hope they were able to fix this.

Le Petit Souffle-10.jpg
✮ Champignon Frittes (P235+10% service charge). Oyster and Enoki mushroom fries with Tonkatsu Mayo.

Start with these mushroom fries–crunchy, healthy, and extra yummy when dipped in the tonkatsu mayo.

Le Petit Souffle - First Time-15.jpg
✮ Japanese Boeuf Curry Souffle (P525 +10% service charge). Savory soufflé filled with fine strips of US beef short plate and Japanese short grain rice with Japanese curry sauce (20 minutes to make).

We love this US beef rice soaked in Japanese curry sauce topped with fluffy cheese soufflé!

Le Petit Souffle - First Time-16.jpg
✮ Foie Gras Mac and Cheese (P625 +10% service charge). Macaroni with sharp cheddar, emmental with shimeji, crimini, and Hungarian sausage, topped with seared Foie Gras.

The ultimate decadent mac and cheese–with rich cheese sauce, generous slices of Hungarian sausage, and yes, foie gras!

Le Petit Souffle - First Time-17.jpg
The shimeji and crimini mushrooms balance out the richness of the sharp cheddar with mozzarella cheese. You can’t resist eating it with the foie gras, which gives the dish that extra umami creaminess.

Le Petit Souffle-12.jpg
✮ Squid-ink Rice (P395 +10% service charge). Fresh seafood, shimeji, and soft scrambled egg on squid-ink rice.

It’s like a black paella topped with egg and big chunks of fresh scallops, shrimps, squid, and mussels. So good!

Le Petit Souffle-8.jpg
✮ Vegetarian Soba Pasta (P325 +10% service charge). Soba, shimeji, zucchini, eggplant, bell pepper in a shoyu sauce.

We underestimated this simple dish. The soba noodles absorbed all the sweet shoyu sauce, which made it taste so good even when eaten cold.

Le Petit Souffle-11.jpg
Order the duck confit if you like a French comfort dish with salad on the side.

Congratulations to Chef Miko Aspiras, Charles Paw, and Kristine Lotilla for the Le Petit Soufflé concept!

Chef Miko Aspiras’ Signature Desserts

Le Petit Souffle-19.jpg
✮ Valrhona Grand Crus (P375 +10% service charge). Layers of decadent Valrhona chocolate: Araguani 72% flourless cake, Caramelis 36% flourless cake, Dulcey 32% ganache, and Equatoriale 55% ganache. Served with vanilla creme Anglaise.

The luxurious Valrhona dessert that foodies have been raving about at Le Petit Soufflé.

Le Petit Souffle - First Time-23.jpg
Enjoy the two layers of caramel and chocolate flourless cake with a choice of dulce or chocolate ganache topping, wrapped in light vanilla milk sauce.

Le Petit Souffle-23.jpg
Strawberry and Lychee Parfait (P195 +10% service charge). Vanilla custard base softee with almond dacqoise, fresh strawberries, strawberry sauce, lychee and matcha jelly, matcha mocha, and matcha powder.

I actually prefer the parfait as dessert because of the fresh fruits and the matcha jelly balls with a softee custard.

Le Petit Souffle-24.jpg
✮ Matcha Parfait (P195 +10% service charge)Matcha custard base softee, Valrhona Equatorialle 55% crumbs, chocolate sauce, matcha Kit-Kat, matcha and coffee jelly, adzuki beans, charcoal and  matcha Mochi.

Can’t get enough matcha for my dessert–matcha custard, matcha Kit-Kat, and matcha mochi!

Le Petit Souffle-20.jpg
Valrhona Guanaja 70% Dark Chocolate Souffle with Vanilla Creme Anglaise (P350 +10% service charge)

You can also order the traditional French soufflés for dessert.

Le Petit Souffle-22.jpg
French Vanilla Bean Soufflé with Vanilla Creme Anglaise (P300 +10% service charge)

My favorite is just the simple vanilla bean soufflé with the light vanilla creme sauce.

LE PETIT SOUFFLÉ is happy place for foodies in Century City Mall for those looking for a cute café hangout with French- and Japanese-inspired food and, of course, Chef Miko’s decadent desserts.

I recommend starting with the Champignon Frittes, then ordering the Japanese Boeuf Curry Soufflé, Foie Gras Mac and Cheese, and Squid-ink Rice for your main dish. End with the Valrhona Grand Crus and Matcha Parfait for dessert.

Most of the yummy food is so rich so this is not a place for people on a diet. Budget about P700/head.

It’s a great place for celebrating a special occasion like your anniversary or for even just simple get-togethers with friends if you’re in the vicinity of Century City Mall.
