PHILIPPINE TOY CON 2014 Moments @OfficialToycon

TOY CON 2014-34.jpg
It was our first time to visit the Philippine Toy Con, the biggest Pop Culture Event in Manila.

Here’s a photo essay of our Toy Con moments with the Diaz boys…

TOY CON 2014-1.jpg
Toy Con 2014 was well-attended and very crowded. We had to squeeze the little boys who were excited to attend the event for the first time.

The boys were amazed at the Marvel collectible figurines. 🙂

It was Azrael‘s fault why we attended the event. He shared the Toy Con idea with the boys and they were bugging us to go ever since.

The life-size figures are amazing! It was awesome to see all of them in one venue.

TOY CON 2014-6.jpg
The Incredible Hulk in the house! 🙂

TOY CON 2014-9.jpg
The cosplayers were cool…and some, scary.

TOY CON 2014-13.jpg
The female cosplayers were pretty and friendly, especially to the kids.

TOY CON 2014-19.jpg
This being Toy Con, one section was devoted to a toy exhibit.

At the center was the Lego display from the Official Philippine Lego Users Group (PhLUG).

They had a military-themed section…

…and Lego versions of the Jaegers from Pacific Rim. 🙂

TOY CON 2014-23.jpg
It was awesome to meet the ambassadors and co-founders of PhLUG. 🙂

TOY CON 2014-24.jpg
There was also a nice display of figurines of the Philippine Basketball Team.

TOY CON 2014-26.jpg
Nobody wanted to pose with this Chucky Doll (from Child’s Play) and his scary bride. 😛

TOY CON 2014-28.jpg
Various other collections were on display, like this one featuring Silver Surfer…

TOY CON 2014-31.jpg
…and Bumblebee.

TOY CON 2014-33.jpg
What do you call these kinds of figurines?

There were also sexy cosplayers that attracted the “M” crowd.
