A visit to Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is a must for any tourist to understand the culture and colorful history of Taiwan. I've visited the hall twice now: the first with the family and our friend Meg Kho, and the second with the Taiwan Fam Trip Group via Jeron Travel.

EMILIO MORO Winery was established in 1891 in Northwest Spain. Now run by the 3rd generation of Moros, José & Javier, they produce one of the best Tempranillo (Spanish grape variety) Wines in the world.

I've started to appreciate wine because it adds a different dimension to my meal experience. I also love hearing the story behind the wine because I get to know more about the passion and culture of the family who created it.

It's named after its trademark "Triple-O" hamburger sauce (made of mayonnaise and hamburger relish). The name of the sauce itself came from the shorthand language used by the original order takers (known as carhops) to indicate the guests' choice of extra mayo and/or relish. SOFRITO CAFE by Millie is the first authentic Puerto Rican restaurant in Manila. Its name is a tribute to Puerto Rican Sofrito, a sauce of cilantro, onion, garlic, and green, red, and aji peppers used as a base flavor when cooking food.
The Manila restaurant scene is starting to get crowded with the same food concepts. As foodies, we're always craving for something new, searching for flavors that educate us on other cultures. Sofrito is one such restaurant.
