Aklan Story AKLAN STORY. Meet Tatay Hopecio Cadivida, 77 years old and part of a team that will help rebuild Aklan. His team travelled for 16 hrs together with his 4 sons and 1 grandchild. Truly, no one is too old to help and nation-building can be a family affair!

 

 

Aklan AKLAN. The Ates and Kuyas of Team Singapura surprised the kids from Brgy. Fatima, New Washington, Aklan with a party that they will never forget!

 

 

Antique ANTIQUE. Team Pandan volunteers along with military troops and DepEd Pandan teachers painted classrooms at Pandan, Antique. Getting ready for the upcoming school year!

 

 

Bayani On Wheels BAYANI ON WHEELS. “We got a team that traveled from Manila to Leyte to raise funds and friends and to take part in the Bayani Challenge. All for Leyte! “More than 24 hrs bus ride to Leyte then biked from San Juanico Bridge up to Tanuan, Leyte: 25 kms. Saw some of the devastation of Yolanda, mass graves, wrecked houses. Also observed that bikes are the main mode of transportation here. More reason for team Bayani On Wheels to achieve our goal of sending 400 bikes here.” – Maurice Alcantara, Bayani On Wheels

 

 

Bohol BOHOL. 800 blocks made by our volunteers for Sandingan National High School, Loon, Bohol! It will be used as flooring of the classrooms we are making.

 

 

Capiz CAPIZ. Oral Health Awareness at Brgy. Cudian, Ivisan, Capiz for the kids and the Nanays!

 

 

Cebu Balangay CEBU BALANGAY. Our Balangay boat painters are all smiles in Madridejos, Bantayan Island, Cebu especially knowing that this would help our fishermen start again for their families.

 

 

Cebu Inspiration CEBU INSPIRATION. “This is what keeps us going. The smiles that will be carried on to the future. We have left our loved ones behind to build communities and inspire the young to dream and work towards a wonderful Philippines because we know that what we hold are not just bricks but building blocks of Filipino identity.” – Mark Aquino, Volunteer, Pilipinas Natin

 

 

Eastern Samar EASTERN SAMAR. Hiking to reach a far-flung barangay up the mountains for ocular at Eastern Samar visit for the April 23 Bayani Challenge. No barangay shall be left behind!

 

Iloilo ILOILO. School and house refurbishing with our Bureau of Fire and French volunteers in Iloilo. Filipinos and Filipinos at heart working together!

 

 

Leyte Turn-over LEYTE TURN-OVER. “Five months after the strongest and most destructive supertyphoon, the first batch of Yolanda (Haiyan) survivors can finally begin to start over in new homes in Tanuan, Leyte!”

 

 

Leyte LEYTE. “Rain or shine, schools are refurbished, homes and relationships are built in Leyte! And yes, definitely, HOPE! “

 

 

Negros Occidental NEGROS OCCIDENTAL. Medical mission for the families in Cadiz Viejo, Negros Occidental. Sharing with them the importance of health too!

 

 

Samar
SAMAR. Last minute huddle with the dedicated and passionate Technical Working Group of Team Daram in Samar. Ready to serve!

 

Southern leyte
SOUTHERN LEYTE. 800m bayanihan line along Maasin City Highway going to Maasin National Vocational High School with 2,300 volunteers all excited to bring and pass on hope!

 

Zamboanga ZAMBOANGA. Another round of fun, fun activities for Paraisong Pambata with 500 kids in Brgy. Ayala, Tulungatong, Zamboanga. SOUTHERN LEYTE. 800m bayanihan line along Maasin City Highway going to Maasin National Vocational High School with 2,300 volunteers all excited to bring and pass on hope! SAMAR. Last minute huddle with the dedicated and passionate Technical Working Group of Team Daram in Samar. Ready to serve!
