Babywearing not only promotes physical bonding, but is also said to develop more confident, smarter babies who are less anxious and cry less. The added benefit to wearing your baby on a sling is that it keeps your hands free to do other things!

With stretchy, cool, sometimes even eco-friendly fabric, expectant and nursing moms these days have more options in the fashion department. There are clothes made with hidden slits and panels for easier nursing, there are transition wear that moms can use from pregnancy and beyond. Modern moms are anti-frump!
Green mommyhood is in!: Cloth Diapering, Organic Fashion, Natural product choices
More and more moms opt to use cloth diapers- better for babies skin, more economical and also great for the environment.
In the last two years, there has been a greater demand for clothing made from natural and organic fabrics such as bamboo cotton. The clothes are uber soft, cool to the skin, and some types even have anti-UV and anti bacterial properties. Perfect for babies and kids, especially newborns!
Most modern moms are label-reading moms. You’ll find her in the supermarket checking out the fine print of ingredients and nutritional facts behind supermarket finds. She is just as discerning in terms of skin care products, toys, there is even finger paint and mineral make up for kids among others

These days, moms can have their cake and eat it too, meaning they can be active parents and run a business. More and more women are getting into business because of opportunities made possible by the internet, social media, and most are also naturally multi-taskers and instinctive enough to know what other moms and women like them need and want.
