A couple of weeks ago we witnessed the premiere of the short film/commercial for Chile Vitas which paid tribute to the vintage Pinoy films from the 50’s and 60’s. It is titled, “Bingwit ng Pag-ibig” and features Milena Krahulcova as Lolita, the funny Ramon Bautista as Ramon, and Richie Aquino as Nestor. Watch the video:

Director and Producer Dan Gil remembers watching, and loving, a lot of these classics on his black and white television set when he was a kid. I personally remember watching these films in the 80’s, right after lunch before doing our afternoon nap.
For Dan, this is truly a fun project. The actors are all superb. The styling by Guada Reyes and make up by Alberto Fuderanan III captured the period. The classic pinoy music “Bingwit ng Pag-ibig”, composed by Juan Silos Jr., is performed by the one and only Sylvia La Torre.
The short film’s Lolita is performed by Milena Krahulcova. She is a fast rising Czech actress who has been living in the Philippines for sometime now. She is best known for her “Vegan Guiltless Pleasure Desserts” with no animal fat, no white sugar, glutten free or whole wheat, no artificial sweeteners, all natural and low carb.
During the premiere night, she shared a Dana Banana Choco Cake (P500 4in. – cake, P700 – 8in. cake). I can’t believe that this healthy dessert cake could taste that good. Yeah its hard to agree by the looks that that cake is a healthy cake! But from the ingredients you mentioned it is indeed a healthy cake, I wonder how it taste like without white sugar and using wheat flour, but judging by the looks of it, it already makes me hungry!
