Choto Stop in Little Tokyo
The Coop Store along Mile Long, also known as the P75 store, has relocated and been rebranded as Choto Stop. Its name means "stop for a while" in Japanese and its logo is a rip-off of the Ministop logo, Japanese version. Most of the items are line priced to P75 (even the Japanese ice cream), but there is a mini-section for Japanese wine and other expensive stuff (more than P75).
Choto Stop is beside Shinjuku in Little Tokyo. At the back of the grocery store is a mini-restaurant with a P220 Bento Box with the softest beef cubes we have ever tasted. The store is also famous for the fresh vegetable deliveries from Japan a few times a week.
You can pass through Choto Stop to go inside Little Tokyo. The photo above was taken before the fresh deliveries from Japan arrived.
Japanese women flock to Choto Stop when the deliveries come in. You can call them at +632 759-5560 for the delivery schedule.
Beef Cube Steaks Bento (P220). The beef cubes look meaty, but they were so soft like tofu. Try it out when you are in Little Tokyo.
We love the Japanese Waffle Ice Cream!
We always find the opportunity to teach Aidan to share his favorite food with Syoti Joshua. :)
