Best Buffets in Manila: Li Li's Yum Cha Sunday Dimsum Buffet

Lili Dimsum Buffet-48

Li Li Dimsum Buffet (P1,342 net) in Hyatt is one of the best Cantonese dimsum buffets in Manila. It’s just like the ones you can enjoy in Hong Kong. The restaurant is named after Li Li, a famous member of the Hongkong elite. Two of the private rooms are named after her daughters Fei Fei and Bai Ling. The menu is created by five highly skilled master chefs from Hong Kong to ensure the culinary quality and authenticity that Hyatt is known for.

You’ll be given a dimsum menu (Note: it changes everyday) that you can check out. The food is cooked right after you order it. The buffet comes with free-flowing iced tea, soft drinks and local beer. Go easy on the drinks, though. It is better to order hot tea throughout the entire meal. You can also order wine from their cellar.

To get the most out of your experience in Li Li, order the dimsum best-sellers first and your dimsum favorites. Best-sellers would include the dimsum trio of:

For chili lovers, remember to order the XO sauce, chili garlic sauce and some jalapeños.

Before ordering more dimsum, try the dessert buffet. The taro cream, chilled mango cream and the steamed buns for dessert are all highly recommended. Pair them with an array of cakes, fruits and sweet pastries.

After dessert, order the dimsum items that you haven’t tried yet. Just a tip: It is impossible to order all the items on the dimsum menu and enjoy it. The restaurant has a “no sharing, no leftovers and no take-out” policy.

hi! I see you are doing a best buffet series- great idea, especially since pinoys love buffets! have tried the ones you have written about, Lili, Spirals, Dusit but my favourites are still at the Shang Makati- Circles and the Inagiku weekend buffet- the special sushi assortment alone is worth it! I think you have reviewed circles here before, but if you haven't already reviewed the one at Inagiku, you should- I think your readers will enjoy it!

Yes, I had a circles post. I'm still completing the Best Buffets... Sige
