8 Best Things I Miss About P&G.
It is very hard to leave a company you loved for more than a decade. Like in any other love, you need to put a proper closure to it before you can move on. Allow me to put a proper closure on this part of my life by sharing with you the 8 Best Things I Miss About P&G.
When I graduated from college, there are only two things that I gained from 4-years in the University. (1) I learned how to study and teach myself new skills. (this would include cramming skills if you are on a tri-semestral schedule) (2) I gained a network of college friends who would help me later on in my life. I never remembered the subjects taught or the different extra-curricular activities I did in school.
As I reflect on my professional IT career, there are only three things that I gained from it. (1) I learned skills on project management, coaching, strategy and leadership. (2) The legacy of people I recruited, coached, and trained in P&G. Lastly, (3) a handful of true friends who really care about me and my family. I never remembered the stressful projects I worked on or the superficial relationships with other people in the office.
1. I miss my true P&G friends — Mong and Willeus. The three (3) of us entered P&G at the same time — June 5, 1995 straight from college.
2. I miss my dream IT team. To my Phils MDO and GBS Consumer Solutions team, it was an honor working with you guys!
3. I miss the P&G Marathon team. I am a marathoner. Thanks to Jim and all the pioneering members of the P&G Marathon Team.
4. I miss the sleep pod and innovative workspace environment that people loved. These days I work in innovative wi-fi cafes and hot spots. 
5. I miss the Phils Leadership Team and the brand teams. I will continue to pray for you guys and keep up the fight! 
6. I miss the Asia IDS team. You guys are the best IT professionals I worked with. Thanks for the support and camaraderie.
7. I miss the Halloween Children Parties. Aidan won the best Halloween Costume for two years in a row. Too bad, he won’t be able to defend his title.
8. I miss the P&G Christmas Basket. Every December, we would often receive a basket of goodies for Santa enough for the noche buena.
Thank you for listening to my sentimental post. I’m now ready to move on…

Thanks for sharing this with us Anton! You never know what’s down the road but sometimes the road takes a mysterious turn and brings us back right where we started. =) Am not saying P&G may be an option again in the future but you truly never know. ….in the past united states of america became even richer even the richiest from the way america was in the 90’s because of some under the rug filipino talents but the filipino talents was harrassed by some unwanted unknown whitemen so the filipino talents fought back on those american whitemen who constantly control private personnal calls or communications was verbally attacked threatened coz of why filipino talents has needs to use operators when calling personnal long distances so filipino talents ended up using operators in most of local calls concerned about those verbal threatening attacks when uses her own home telephone it became scarry coz not only the filipino talents was verbally attacked her calls are also directed to other places or numbers she had not called it was terrifying coz they also had so many people calling their home but it is listed as unlisted “not to be bothered phone number” unwanted whitemen who wants to take control of ones lives so filipino talents fought back but in an unconventional way {husband bad coaching}her husband said talk bad talk the most horrendous way once for all so they wont call bother you again and she did and yes! the dozens almost a hundred calls per day stop but the filipino talents was traumatized feeling the lost of control of life whoever those whitement who wants to control her communications in the 90’s but she never gave up fighting back searching for an answer so it would stop why was it’s happening coz there was no reason for it/it is uncalled for because she was friendly caring loving every kindness-admirations she gets from others to minorities in particular she was also outgoing happy fun filled never had any negative associations whatsoever so what was the american harrassments about in her early 90’s life & communications?….i will cut short coz whatever those caucasian americans did wanted obviously did not results to something wonderful or good whatever the harrassers{not the admirers}wanted to gain did not resulted to something wondeful or good coz america lost it’s one of a kind filipino talents…. the stresses was thrown out & was the fine line filipino talents decided to isolate-stop-stagnate her talents that inspired those kind healthy caucasians in united states government-citizens and entire world in a way but without that america’s one of a kind ‘inspirations’ somehow made also wonderful america lost-isolated-stagnated it’s luck tarnish it’s early 90’s luck turned away from them and later she visits asia instead asia’s luck grew month by month year by years inspiring but only thru the lucks shadows of desires wanting those luck be turned-part of new world-human changes from sick violent human nature to the love of nature’s love for the enviroments for the love of humans for the disadvantage filipinos in particular luck’s turned unknown countries into being self reliant an advanced independent societies but more caring more daring more inventive more creative more adventurous more inquisitive more talented more gifted filipinos ahead….reason why i brought this up is because many lessons can be learned from what that filipino talents had experienced in america the message to all is to NOT TO REPEAT THE SAME MISTAKES AMERICANS DID IN THE PAST prepare yourself to something wonderful and joyful those who has new huge changes in their lives do not be afraid coz changes are their to challenge that wonderful things are possible it will happened just ‘learned’ to fight but with smiles coz it means ‘success’ not only to you but for all generations of filipinos ahead and the rest of the world i believe very much so…. your awesome planet site is a wealth a natural resources a treasure by itself coz of some filipinos rare ‘state of the mind’ coz it was THAT what made united states of america even richer even wealthier in early 90’s but only if you do it right in keeping that ‘luck stays’….finish-released your own books asked all other filipino psychiatrist-psychologist-scientists-my high school first love-literary writers to write their own books on life about mental health humans or life ANALYSIS based on this OAP site of what we all talk about here coz nowhere in the past in any continent nowhere in world history have a single human mind this open-this explicit-so detailed-so widely-so globally spontaneous that single handedly laid human minds in strategic economic spiritual social scientific religious senses unless they have read-heard the filipino talents in the past decades or these OAP conversations comments in the past coz books in all forms except medical-personnal letters is not as personnal in analysis when written coz human have to learned them have to learned the thoughts first from somewhere else coz only very few gifted humans has ‘original’ thoughts {originated from themselves} not from others reason why it is rare reason why it gives you reasons to even better write more books{or stories of your own stage plays lol!}so you can tell stories of all your experiences thru social exchanges anywhere…. worrying the future without any positive accomplishments is a waste BUT NOT if you read right & understood OAP comments-messages lol….

I just want to share with you these stages of “personal change” that I got from a seminar I attended. This might help you understand just a little bit on where you are right now. Stages: 1. Denial 2.Anger 3.Bargaining 4.Depression 5. Acceptance.
I’m not saying these stages apply to everybody, they’re just somethings worth pondering on. I’m sure you’re in the last stage by now. Again, good luck. I’ve been a follower of your blog for years now.

I recently resigned from P&G as well. We didn’t get to work together but I’d see you every now and then in the GO (as I was based in Sing for Tide). You’re so right – definitely don’t miss the stress but I miss the office and all the great people. But I’ll always be a P&G-er through and through.

…..not changing big not changing huge ASAP was the MAIN reason why the philippines economy did not rach did not attained a GNP like china of over 10% the huge big change is supposed to be the total gun ban the total weapons ban in entire philippines 2 years ago except for the militay & few police special tactic forces but it did not happened it was intercepted by terrorists money mongoring international e-mails messages interceptors obviously they want guns weapons sale so reaching more than 10% gnp was not possible coz of that hindrance i am also dissapointed why gloria arroyo did not made that happened 2 years ago since that is the main part of her pprograms the tragedies in the seas would have not happened it the gun ban path was implemented…..meaning i believe tha philippines must sacrifice their ‘scarry’ friends in banning weapons guns nationwide to save the good innocent filipinos in return what so bad about that saving billions trillions of pesos from murders internal wars robberies kidnappings terrorisms weapons guns they used etc. so why did pres. arroyo did not want those savings didnt she recieved the urgency for that gun ban few years ago whoever intercepted that pprograms must be the one the legal courts are looking for but couldnt find? that way filipinos need not fear for their safety nor lives and freely change or move their job future fom one boring unproductive to a happy decent fenjoyable jobs why was the possible 10-12% gnp growth intercepted in the past a sign of future danger must be solved why? hhmmmm?….

…what i am saying was with past present history guns or weapons ownerships by non active law enforcers WAS EXCLUSIVELY USED ENTIRELY FOR COMMITTING HENOUS CRIMES LIKE MURDERS THEFTS AKYAT BAHAY CAR-KIDNAPPINGS HOLD UPS RAPES ROBBERIES INTIMIDATIONS HIRED KILLERS ARMED GOONS DRIVE BY SHOOTINGS ILLEGAL WEAPONS TRAFFICKINGS SMUGGLING OPERATIONS PROSTITUTION’S PROTECTIONS MINORS CHILD LABORS OPERATIONS TERRORISMS SEA PIRATINGS SOCIAL WEAPONS AS THREATS ETC.ETC.ETC…..CAN SOMEONE CREATE OR MAKE US BELIEVE THAT IN MILLIONS OF GUNS WEAPONS BROUGHT SMUGGLED IN PHILIPPINES THAT THEY ARE actual HEROES everyday STORIES WHERE GUNS ACTUALLY WAS INDIVIDUALLY USED TO SAVE a person THRU MEANS OF PERSONALLY USING IT AGAISNT ACTUAL CRIMINALS IN FRONT OF THEM excluding law enforcers active duty defenses….i am not saying legal valid users of guns should be totally removed….i believe active professional gun handlers but active duty law enforcers like the military special police force should really have them to defend all corners of ANY country….what i find dangerous are that public buying gun ownerships who will actually ended up using them because their enemies find a way provoked them to use their weapons to encourage more users to own guns like sa mga pagyayabang pag nalasing kung sino sino ang mga binabaril nila o tinututukan nila panggagahasa o pagnanakaw o pananakot eh hindi healthy happy peaceful lifestyle yan kundi TAKUTAN TAYO PARE LIFESTYLES tawag dyan eh kawawa naman yung mga anak nilang maliliit o asawang mabait na naiiwan dahil sa baril barilan na pag aari na ang takot ay dahil sa akala pag may baril sila ay o.k. lang….ang hindi nila alam eh false sense of pride o false sense of security yang mga weapons kung hindi ka active law enforcers kasi kung publiko ka o mayaman ka na may baril lalong naiinis yung mga mayabang na totoo na may ari ng mga baril kasi lalong hindi magpapatalo kung magpapakitaan lang ng mga armas mas malala pa lalo kung may mga nag bibitaw na salita tulad ng ‘may araw ka rin’ o ‘subukan mo lang’ o ‘lagot ka mamaya pare ko’ o di kaya ‘sa likod ng sabungan als dos’
o ‘kaya mo ba akong talaga huh’ lol!….meaning maraming mga biyuda dyan pag ganyan ang mga tono ng may mga armas na hindi naman mga law enforcers pero may kabit o girlfriend o friends o kabarkada na mga kasama lol….ayaw nyo ng abortions as last resorts if life threatening cases are involved pero o.k. lang yun sa inyo kung mga statistics eh in thousands of filipinos dying murdered as casualties o.k lang at o.k. lang din to spent millions in arguing monthly ANNUALLY how to prevent filipinos from dying if not murders also cause by unpreventable contagious deseases pero never materialized just talking about it over & over again just like waste managements as if wastes has feet has ‘legs’ that it can travel dissappear by itself so never mind let’s just ignore & let’s have a “don’t let it bother you” system filipino attitude-culture….with the frequent floodings luckily those wastes na clogged in underground systems sa probinsya lang naglilitawan at least they have something to laugh about pag binabaha sila lol! anyway mine are social analysis lang naman at mga fiction mini stories o fictional ideas maybe if it made sense learned from it if not then ignore or just think i am also a lady who is fiction na part of the other side of the coins lol….paalala lang naman kasi para hindi tayong lahat ay lagi na lang biktima ng sarili nating mga ignorances at kung hindi eh di mabuti naman at salamat sa mga tinuro ng mga magulang schools ninyo at yung sa akin din ….

if you read all gmmahoney’s comments here in our awesome planet blog corner monthly besides recent comments you’ll see how gmmahoney are making all of us aware that the amount of humans or the macho macho filipino’s passive violent social tendencies means it’s ‘damages’ far outweight the ‘savings’ on-from few ‘law abiding’ filipinos contributions to better the system the lives of other majority poor filipinos..reason why you miss proctor & gamble’s social circles coz it is a good heroic company that helps the world in many ‘household’ ways in many enviromental social ways reason why millions of customers like me patronize them..just like delicious soft krispy kreme products pricey but taste is superior..but what gmmahoney is saying is that your own future ‘our awesome planet’ itself is about to become as large as proctor & gamble but keep it for your children aidan joshua as part ownerships sell more advertisemnts spaces sell more OAP ideas to others but must keep copyrights for aidan-joshua’s future..call all filipino scientists psychiatrist psychologists literary writers[in america whitemen are extremely ‘mean’ dangerous when great minds are concerned when other great minds other than them exists coz of advance maybe economic maybe social superiority status maybe coz of competitions} coz here are most topics human minds social interactions mental healths all analysis the world was had been searching wanting looking for around the world..solutions of the world’s problems are stated here and that is by itself wealth just listen to the comments here by filipinos coz the world’s wealth are coming from philippines filipinos state of the minds when ‘thought provokings’ are concerns..beautiful minds are priceless treasures beautiful minds are by itself a life of it’s own coz it will lead you to beautiful feelings fullest sense of beings to happiness to life contents to ideas plans that help you in better life’s changes ..that if we look at it closely we will see the huge big differences in-of our social life if minds are not beautiful not as beautiful if minds are opposite that what is beautiful..

This was one sentimental post Anton, and I just wanted to thank you for all the coaching and friendship. How will I ever forget my first ever boss and mentor?
