New 7 Wonders of Nature - Vote for the Philippine Nominees!

Four (4) Philippine nominees for the New 7 Wonders of Nature are in the top 10 in the latest New 7 Wonders of Nature Live Ranking.

N7WN Live Ranking
Tubbataha Reef in Palawan, Chocolate Hills in Bohol, Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park in Palawan, and Mayon Volcano in Bicol have a greater chance of becoming the New 7 Wonders of Nature by Summer of 2010! I could already imagine the boom of tourism in the Philippines and the additional jobs that it will create in these areas. Philippines will become a serious player in the tourism industry.

The selection process has started and you can vote for your nominees until December 31, 2008. Please vote -->
New 7 Wonders of Nature Nominees from the Philippines.

By January 2009, a panel of experts led by
Prof. Federico Mayor, former Director-General of UNESCO, would shortlist the 200+ nominees to 21 Finalist. Hopefully the four (4) top Philippine entries will be included in the shortlist. So Please vote --> New 7 Wonders of Nature Nominees from the Philippines. Afterwards, the 21 finalist will be put on a popular vote for the New 7 Wonders of Nature until summer of 2010. We would need all Filipinos to vote for the Philippine finalists.

I'm so excited about this! I hope all four entries will make it to the Top 7! God Bless the Philippines!

i voted too! and i've been to 4 out of my top 7! underground river, mt. mayon, chocolate hills, halong bay...i hope I can afford to go diving to tubbataha soon :-)

Though I love the Philippines and all, this government campaign to get our tourist sights nominated in the 7 wonders of the world has cheapened the internet selection process.

No matter how awesomely beautiful our country is, FOUR out of the top SEVEN natural wonders cannot be located here. And because the results are unbelievable, it is hard to expect that tourists will be flocking from all over the world to see these sights.

I just think it doesn't help that on the jumbotron-like ad for voting tubbataha (on Ayala Ave.), the fish shown are mostly African Cichlids from Lake Malawi.

For Three (3) Months now, Philippine’s Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park is NUMBER 1!! lets continue to support it and vote mga kabayan..lets be PROUD and be known!! Salamat po!

I love Philippines. i vote for mt. chocolate hills & underground river. go...go...go...Philippines.

i vote for mt. mayon...
